  1. Past hour
  2. I like the phrase, "beautiful at every age." Not all persons are. The masturbation kings seem shocked, as they rub their wrinkly puds, that people age. Go to the "I can't believe this is the same actor" thread. They seem to feel betrayed by nature's course.
  3. So now NG may be carrying weapons in DC. What does it mean when the executive fortifies the capital with military due to an “emergency”? Kinda sounds like a coup to me
  4. i agree but he (helm) was good enough to present a multiple look. personnel did not betray the play calling or scheme. hopefully endries, washington, townsend, whoever the fuck it is can achieve that. if we are throwing with endries and running with shannon, that's obviously a disadvantage.
  5. i did not say i did not like endries...you are inserting that sentiment. i said i am naturally skeptical of a player transferring from cal as it relates to my confidence in knowing what to expect. those are two very different things. great players can come from anywhere...the transfers i expect to kill it the most this year are from utsa and arkansas...two shit teams. i just said i am naturally skeptical and very much in wait and see what he does against ohio state's defense as opposed to relying on being honorable mention for his games against stanford and uc davis before i assume he will effectively replace the production from helm. remember, the part of my post above that you quoted regarding tight ends was in my "i have no fucking idea what is going to happen" part of my post...not my "i think we are going to suddenly suck shit because of this clown ass cal transfer" part. reaching back more than twenty years to jeff tedford's program does not translate to cal's players now. but, of course, it does not mean that he cannot be an impact player. we didn't think there was a reason that billingsley could not have been an impact player when he transferred either. ultimately, i don't have a reason to be confident that i know what to expect from the t.e.'s. hence my designation in my original post. in contrast, i am confident i know what to expect from spence. hopefully two years from now, i'm posting "how the ever loving fuck are we going to possibly replace the greatness that was jack mother fucking endries??!!" my stance on collins and broughton makes plenty of sense when you realize that i disagree with the premise that they both "played like ass" in 23. i think you missed where i said: i think they both made big jumps from 22 to 23 and both were impactful guys...they were just backing up murphy and sweat. as a backup, collins had 7 fewer tackles on the season than murphy did...racked up a couple of sacks, and was an impact guy. just like sweat and murphy made a huge jump from 21 to 22 and then even more in 23, we saw a similar pattern from both of them...that's not a coincidence. collins and broughton were both 23 year olds last year and in their fifth year. all of them have had the benefit of good coaching. as for talent, we will see what baker gets from them. shaw has a 55 career tackles in three years...merely double what collins had as a backup in 2023 alone...a season you have declared as him "sucking." kanu in two years of playing as a rs-fr and soph has 14 total tackles ever...substantially less than collins in his "playing like ass" year as a backup. brevard has had some nice stats and i am hopeful that, particularly with baker's coaching, he will contribute to a solid interior. but it remains the case that, along with cornerback, that the potential drop off at dt is my biggest concern. luckily, we don't have to agree...and we are both hoping for the same thing.
  6. I suppose I'm a little traumatized from our RB situation last year. Let Baxter play 2-3 quarters against the cupcakes and I'll just hold my breath
  7. Am I the only one seeing a meaty Homer Simpson on that tray?
  8. hey, a comfortable win against a team we should beat comfortably and no “individual mistakes” leading to disaster. i had forgotten what that was like and frank-ly, it feels good.
  9. Dammmit express, I haven’t finished your post from last week and this shit again.
  10. So needed.
  11. That's Myles "8 career HRs in 2000 ABs" Straw. Before today. It's been said, but finding new ways to lose every day.
  12. Arch put the ball on the ground.
  13. Arch lost his s hook ID? I dunno I thought it was trying real hard to be clever.
  14. $200 for Stagg jr is about the norm. Seemed to be the best price up there
  15. I don’t know how often Baby Jesus weighs in on prison rape scenarios, particularly affirmative scenarios, but, please Baby Jesus, let this be correct. I want to stand nearly in low earth orbit near the top of that fucking horseshoe and watch those cocksuckers trudge their way out with many minutes left on the clock. I hope they are naughty in Your sight and shall snuff it.
  16. Haven't turned this on but I did rubberneck at the carnage in the box score. Myles Straw ... cool...cool.
  17. Dude, the reality is the game has changed. Ripken at 40/50/60% was better than any pitcher he was facing as well as his backup. Guys that aren’t 100% (or close to it) going against guys that are is a failure waiting to happen
  18. This, but K.J. Lacey would benefit from an Arch Manning style developmental curve. Keeping Trey Owens through the end of 2026 would be ideal, but not sure it will happen.
  19. Yeah, I'm foreseeing a Maalik Murphy type transfer in the near future. I love the way Sarkisian has managed the QB room. It's never been handled better, frankly.
  20. I say keep this one going. in New Braunfels watching the game with the VfB Central Texas supporters group. The Bayern folks are at the next table.
