I’ve jumpseated on 787’s. There’s no reason to have a hand anywhere near those things, and the basic design is the same as those used on numerous airframes Boeing and Airbus. The switch has to physically be pulled up and then over a detent before being retracted with a spring like mechanism into its new position. It’s pretty fool proof, and would be interesting for this to suddenly raise its head after the airframe has been flying countless hours over 14 years. Also, two defective switches going into the same plane and failing at the same time is kinda stretching things possibility wise.

If you were gonna do pilot suicide seems like an unlikely way to do it. Feels more like a mistake or what that video says.

Which is why the cushion is so important until we get people back.

Yep. The AAA gods are making a margin call.

"He wasn't there for healthcare purposes, he was just trying to escape from being kidnapped!" is an argument, I guess...

Whether the criticism is “more strident” or not, do you disagree that the criticism is warranted? Because bitching about who gets criticized more loudly is an irrelevant distraction. But “irrelevant distraction” pretty much sums up your contributions on this board.

for those who don’t know, baylor, the school already famous for its intra-team murder scandal, went out and recruited players who they knew had already raped coeds at their previous school, unleashed their team into the BU campus where the football players were sexually assaulting and raping co-eds on a regular basis, then blamed the victims, made the victims continue to go to class with their own rapists, then kicked the rape victims out of school after their grades dropped due to trauma, then tried to cover up the literal culture of rape which permeated their program, all while employing people like art briles and kim mulkey. comparing that ^^^ to the thomas partey situation is disgusting. actually fucking disgusting. you are gross.

Our luck with this makeshift lineup is running out.

Gotdam, Cam! ( love the year he has had, but dam what a tough 10 minutes in live time!)

Ignored rape in favor of sports vs covered up rape in favor of sports. They aren’t that far apart. Maybe in your example Arsenal are the good Germans. Maybe I shouldn’t be taken seriously on it. That’s not for me to say. But I’m also not the person making excuse after excuse for why a rapist continued to play a prominent role at my club.

I'm not digging into this guy's past because I give zero fucks; but I wonder what his convictions were for. From what I recall, Canada ain't letting you in with any felony convictions including DUI. G7 and the like should start hosting all their hootenannies in Canada so the dotard can't show up and fuck everything to bolivia. -

jesus fucking christ, this is why nobody can take you seriously. this is like saying that someone who got into a fist fight with a jewish person “hitler'd it”. the two situations are so fucking far apart it’s comical. you are not someone to be taken seriously on this matter.

And them getting sued mattered how? They had to pay 8 million pounds. I’m sure that really broke their budget. United didn’t get sued so it must not be so cut and dry is it? Yea and SOP is the whole fucking problem. Instead of actually standing for something they buried it and ignored it. They played someone they knew was credibly accused of rape. Maybe they should try rewriting the SOP if that’s what they operate with. Why is this so difficult for you?

Are you implying that the US has no national interest in attacking Iran's Nuclear bomb capability? Cops and criminals operate in a system of national civil and criminal laws, which include physically enforceable penalties. International geopolitical relations don't exist in classroom, or a courtroom. They are a jungle. Thinking the ICC, or the UN, have any actual enforceable power, is a fallacy. International law, and diplomatic relations, are great things... up to a point. Once one of the parties has shown they routinely can't be trusted to operate within the principles of the agreed framework, international law is only good for lawyers and idealists to mentally masturbate themselves into believing in "higher standards". It's nice when two civilized nations can negotiate in good faith, and be trusted to uphold their word. Does Iran operate that way? Can they be trusted? No. So they don't get treated like they operate in good faith, or to a "higher standard". I don't like Trump, and Israel is far from lily white in their actions, but them attacking Iran's nuclear bomb plans was a good thing. Whataboutism invoking Israel doesn't move me at all. Iran got what was coming to them, the only complaint was that it should have happened 46 years ago.

It's the third inning. That manager has your team of injured players and no-names with a 7 game lead.

I agree that LAX sucks a thousand assholes. I fly American, so sometimes I get to take the shortcut around, and other times I don't. Such a boom or bust way to start off your travel. The bus-to-your-Uber situation is miserable.
