Things not going well in Venezuela
I think this will be a story in the next few days. No plan at all.

What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
The trail is fine and ChickenSandwich is clearly full of shit, afraid of his own shadow, and clearly never uses it. I'm on it multiple times per week sometime 5:30-7:00a.m. and other times after work well past the 5:30p.m. timeframe he cites as being so unsafe. We had this same conversation on this thread 6-9 months ago. When asked for receipts he had none for this supposed "after 5:30" Thunderdome version of the trail he rants about. It's super fucking laughable.

Parker Livingstone
Livingstone got more than his fair share of red zone targets (and corresponding TDs) early in the season, when the joke was that only white guys were allowed to score TDs. That is also the part of the season when we sucked the most. He made some good catches, to be sure, even after the Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi State games. But if Bobby is right about a mid-six NIL being on the table, that's more or less the most I'd be willing to pay. I don't believe he will develop or produce more than what we'd already seen. It's really the Wisner thing all over again. Is Livingstone's agent anyone with a respectable reputation? I don't believe you'd walk away from the spillover perks of being Arch Manning's roommate unless you're being told (wrongly) that you're leaving serious money on the table by taking a mid-six offer.

Parker Livingstone
No, of course not. Why would he do that? No way...

I don't think they feel the need to build any public support for anything, anymore. They know, and it's a fact, that at least 40- 45% of the people who actually participate in our political system will support absolutely any outrageous bullshit Trumpco dishes out because there is always a justification that's both simple-minded and irrationally aggressive that's enough for the mindless to parrot. The few resisters on the right will get run over with the usual "do you support America or are you a traitor" type bullying. It's over. We all said that Nov. '24 was the test of democracy. It was. "We" lost. Short of means that few of us want to realistically contemplate, the sane among us, including the minority party, are in a position of learned helplessness now despite being technically in the majority numbers-wise. Wish I weren't so pessimistic.- Sean Miller is already losing me
This is kind of sunk cost fallacy. Miller needs to prove he can coach here before anyone is going to open up the checkbook for him.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work

It's all so obvious and farcical that it's difficult to parody. Stewart is brilliant. I'm sure this is good, but I'm OD'd on absurdity from real life; I don't even feel like watching it.- Trump’s America

- Trump’s America
He's glamming up his little black tent with gold painted or plastic chairs. Klass! Laand of the cucks and ho-ome of the tame. No bottom. No generation is homogenized. The end of WW2 got America 50% of the world market. That inflow of wealth changed everything. That generation gave us the National Security State, constant state of war with somebody, the rape of Latin America, The School of the Americas, and they were as greedy as any generation. It's not genetic. It's not inherent. Maybe the worst thing that happened during that time, and I noticed it at the time, was changing the branding of conflict with the communist countries from Liberty/Democracy versus Oppression/Dictators to Capitalism versus Communism. Gordon Gecko. The wonders of the market. Greed is good. That doesn't start in 1980. All of this was in the air. It doesn't arise from the hearts and minds of the masses. The masses react. Believing there is a big difference in the people from one generation to the next is silly. Believing that's where the real conflict lies is counterproductive. Future generations will hate us all and rightfully. Is it only boomers driving to their cubicle job in giant pick up trucks? You think boomers alone elected Trump? Do you think boomers are the only ones denying the coming climate cataclysm because they won't give up hamburgers or private transportation to save their own fucking kids? Those kids will rightfully despise all of us. They won't single out a single generation. They'll see the big picture. Boomers suck as much as anybody. Maybe more. Who gives a shit, their (our) grip is loosening. Take some fucking responsibility yourself. Adhere to Sgt. Hartman:- Things not going well in Venezuela
Light rail systems are fantastic and work incredibly well in many places. Yet whenever it was proposed here, with Cap Metro running it, I voted “no.” Because the person/entity in charge of a project matters a whole fucking lot. You’ll note that the concept of a free and democratic Venezuela really didn’t come up once in any direct fashion in the speech by….the guy in charge of this project. Taking their oil did. Dozens of times. “I’ve seen F-16s do amazing things dozens of times!” doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t expect one piloted by you or me to do anything but crash and burn. The pilot fucking matters. But nobody in this country seems to get that about TFG and literally ANYTHING, so fuck it, let’s just keep lighting shit on fire and hoping for the best.- Things Not Going Well in Venezuela, 2.0
Undercard to the upcoming White House UFC event.- Things not going well in Venezuela
Does anyone know who is actually in charge in Venezuela right now? Seems like that would be a question you would want to answer before you go in and black bag Maduro and his wife.- I for one welcome our new AI overlords

Still is and probably always will be greatest sporting event I attended in my life. The buildup, the teams both being perfect coming in, the setting in the Rose Bowl, the way the game played out and the personal investment in who the winner was all was just perfect.- Any Veterinarian’s here?
Fify- I for one welcome our new AI overlords
I got into a fairly heated discussion last night with two friends in California (yes, Silicon Valley) over whether or not we should be treating AI in conversation as humans. For example, saying please and thank you. I argued we should not because of the extra energy expenditure and because I don’t see the benefit of interacting with AI in a way that makes it more human-like in its interactions. They vehemently disagreed and basically told me I have to embrace it because it’s the future and it will benefit us to make AI communicate in a more human manner. Surly thoughts?- Any Veterinarian’s here?
