  2. Have we heard anything about what kind of knife it was? Was he out running around with some kind of Benchmade Bugout or a Kershaw, or did he just grab a butter knife out of the drawer?
  3. Friday By Bobby Burton The 2026 Texas football schedule was released yesterday evening. Here it is: 2026 Texas Football Schedule Sept. 5: vs. Texas State Sept. 12: vs. Ohio State Sept. 19 vs. UTSA Sept. 26: @ Tennessee Oct. 3: IDLE Oct. 10: vs. Oklahoma (in Dallas) Oct. 17: vs. Florida Oct. 24: vs. Ole Miss Oct. 31: vs. Miss State (Halloween) Nov. 7: at Missouri Nov. 14: at LSU Nov. 21: vs. Arkansas Nov. 27: at Texas A&M ** Some thoughts: - Texas plays only one true road game all the way into November. But then the Horns finish with three of four on the road. - Tennessee is that early road game and it’s the first game of the SEC schedule. It’s a similar set up to this past season when the Horns started SEC play on the road against at Florida. - Yet again this season, it’s an absolutely loaded schedule. Texas is set to play four teams (Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and A&M) in this year’s college football playoff, plus LSU, Tennessee and Missouri on the road, and Florida at home. There’s a real chance that, in all, Texas will play eight ranked teams in 2026. ** The strength of the schedule reinforced one thing: Texas needs to make hay in the portal next month. They’ll need more front-line players and more depth to get through this gauntlet. It would also be nice if the playoffs expanded to 16 teams giving Texas some leeway. ** As it relates to that early season Tennessee game, you may not have noticed but Jim Knowles was named the Vols’ new defensive coordinator this week. Knowles was the former DC at Oklahoma State that gave Sark fits his first couple of years and then was the Ohio State defensive coordinator in the national semifinal a year ago. Knowles likes to run a version of the three-high safety look that has given Sark’s offense troubles previously. That will be a subplot in the first SEC game of 2026.
  4. My favorite Colin Allred moment was the commercial where he talked about wanting to work with the people who were lying about him.
  5. Michael J. Fucked Up
  6. If he is active week one isn’t his full salary guaranteed for the season? *Hard Knocks memory
  7. Saw that condo being fiinished a month ago. More pics of said condo please for those of us still considering a move
  8. Ah, didn't realize they had 9 total. Just seeing Citadel randomly in the middle of the schedule is weird. Very pussy
  9. Remember when Elon Musk had complete, unfettered access to our most sensitive systems and hooked that shit up to starlink and we immediately started seeing russian IP addresses accessing US government databases? Cool stuff. Awesome that we did absolutely jack-shit about it.
  10. I mentioned her in the grouping of future college volleyball players
  11. Bro- it’s 2025, almost’26. We’re win the 21st Century. In the age of “6-7” (yeah, I still have a teenager in the house), 79 is the new 69 (Hey now!) I’m in my late 50’s. I hope and pray I have more than another 20yrs on this rock. IF, I can keep up my quality of life/ which I get is “kind of” up to me. This goes back to my original point/post- If I was a multimillionaire, my quality of life would be very much focused on my health. (Again, this is just for me. I get that others have underlying issues, priorities)
  12. Second to last time in Gregory, assuming we beat Indiana. I'll miss her as much as any player we've had in volleyball. Among any player we've had at UT. She's been such a joy. I don't know if everyone saw the senior day recordings Texas posted, but Emma's dad couldn't have been more complimentary and more grateful for the experience his daughter had. You could just clip his comments and send it to the parents of every recruit and we might not miss on another recruiting battle. Not that we miss on all that many as it is.
  13. Not far off at all. Really hoping this Michigan stuff is a wake up call.
  14. Auburn, Arky, Aggy and Tennessee have this without long stretches on the road.

    RIP Raul Malo

Damn. Never got to see him live.
  16. This is our concern, dude. If this article is true (and I'm skeptical), then there's virtually no way he doesn't get at least a mid first round grade, right? A 4.6 to 4.7 forty time at that size is alien shit. Still, though, he's definitely a freakish athlete but I'm having a hard time believe those numbers https://www.si.com/college/texas/football/texas-longhorns-trevor-goosby-reaches-freak-speeds-summer-workouts
  17. Why? They have a P4 and 2 cupcakes + 9 SEC games. Perfectly cromulent schedule.
  18. So, the Colts, had they wanted to, could have signed him (not directed at you @TheAuditor, just stating what could have happened).
