  3. I think you can fully understand why this happened and still be a little bummed about it. We had to upgrade the RB spot and if Wisner wasn’t okay with that then both parties needed to move on. But as a fan, it does feel like you can’t really have favorite scrappy types anymore. Once an underdog like Wisner (he was an afterthought in his recruiting class), gets a bigger profile, this ending seems almost inevitable. As for the rules, the only thing I want more regulated are these agents. Some of these guys are morons.
  4. Pretty surprising fact. KW is one year younger tha. Andy Reid.
  5. the bolded was definitely not true for Baxter. His biggest flaw was his poor contact balance and lack of toughness, which led to an inability to break tackles commensurate with his measurables. Texas will be better at the RB position next year, undoubtedly. I think it is extremely likely that Texas will be significantly better at RB next year. I will fondly remember Wisner for what he did, but he was miscast as a lead back and Baxter was a miss.
  6. I'd take it a step further and saying that beating OSU in the early season non-con has a connection to playing in this bowl game. The extra practices matter. Going into the off season with a confidence building win matters. Letting the young guys play in the spotlight matters. Playing in this bowl game and giving reps to guys who will be starters next year is a good thing for the team and will contribute to our success next season. Arch isn't made of glass and players want to play. Livingstone and Wingo are still here. Our young LBs who will lead the room next season are still here. KJ Lacey is still on the team. What are you talking about?
  7. Goddamn AppleTV prudes.
  8. Which will undoubtedly include numerous posts from simpletons shitting out (again) AI generated slop across multiple threads in a shameless effort to troll for rep, right?
  9. My YTDs: 401(k): 20.98% (damn, i didn't know). IRA taxable: 42.2%. Matter of good fortune. I got a significant bonus payout and so made an immediate SPY purchase on this exact day IRA nontaxable: 10.4%.
  10. This is fact. Jerry wants to win more than anybody, and very few people get that. He is just a shitty GM and a shitty leader with no foresight, and refuses to realize his mistakes and adjust, just like every Cowboys head coach if the 21st century. He loves money, too, because it feeds his ego. But the biggest thing that ever fed his ego was claiming responsibly for Cowboys Superbowls. But he can't get himself out of the way to understand how to get that done.
  11. "WHOT BOWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLL IS THIS?"
  12. Anyone know what Wisner was paid this year?
  13. 1st two episodes out. I enjoyed it.
  14. The entire fucking post. Don’t play arch Simmons or anyone in this game and crying about the schedule made years ago so let’s cancel Ohio state and look like a bunch of pussies to the world while we are already a punching bag laughing stock after shutting the bed this year. Play the fucking football game. That’s what players do. Arch could fall of his razr scooter on the way to class and hurt himself tomorrow. No game is worthless or there would be no reason to have a season. Every single player on this team underperformed this year. Every one took a step back. They need all the reps they can get m
  15. Good lord, that is so gaudy that it almost has style. $7mm plus another $1800 per month in HOA fees. The The photos are amazing. I love the one with the portraits of daughters/granddaughters from ~1980s-1990s (shown previously). Here are two of my favorites. The statue of a maid serving takes the cake, for me.
  16. TO BE FAIR - We did struggle with SDSU for like half the game and UConn blew Iowa's back out.

  18. Damn that was a nice sack, is that another Watt?
  19. His NFL prospects are limited because he's slow, especially for his size.
  20. As I said, he was a good player before his injury. He wasn't the best running back ever. But he was a good player that flashed a lot of potential. He could cut, he was physical, and he ran through contact. He had more broken tackles in the first few plays in this video than he has since his injury. He just isn't the same player, and that sucks for him.
  21. It will come with Salt Life decals and truck nuts pre-installed.
  22. The Chippewa cheerleaders will definitely keep you warm.
  23. Let's recap what I said in a post that you labeled fucking retarded: - It sucks that Tech is in the playoffs and we aren't - While I think the extra practices are valuable for all of the other players, I don't think it is worth playing and risking injury for Arch and Colin Simmons in a meaningless exhibition game. - Playing Ohio State last year instead of an easy win kept us out of the playoffs (empirically, this is true) and the playoff committee has made it very clear that keeping difficult OOC games on our schedule is an unnecessary risk. If you can avoid the ad hominem attack impulses, which point is fucking retarded?
