  1. Past hour
  2. Check where you are right now.
  3. Reports now that no suspect in custody.
  4. Would’ve been had it been a head shot.
  5. Those last 2 pictures are eerie. Such a shame. Killed while in the very act of practicing peaceful political discourse.
  6. A motivated Marine?
  7. This one, too…
  8. Yeah, the person showing his ass right now doesn't post in CR so maybe you should say a good reminder of why I stay out of DT.
  9. You are internet tough guy'ing your ass off ... on the internet. Hypothetically, you're one of the toughest guys I've ever read ... on the internet. Are you at war, soldier?
  10. Correct. I wouldn't want to be a prominent leftist commentator right now at all.
  11. that is a pretty solid take
  12. Ironic it happened in a Republican state
  13. To be fair, this wasn't a mass shooting
  14. Basically the ending of Oliver Stones movie, Talk Radio https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=exnTCJPi1F0&pp=ygURVGFsayByYWRpbyBlbmRvbmc%3D
  15. Pretty much every single person who was there yesterday was either the Dean of Admissions (Colorado College, Macalister, Sarah Lawrence) or someone older than me (49) or around my age who was in the office of admissions. I wanted to speak directly with someone from Grinnell as I don't want to fly to Iowa to learn more and they came instead to my area. I wanted my daughter to talk further with both Grinnell and Colorado College so she can make sure she's still wanting to apply to them and feels the same way about them as she did earlier. I also wanted her to see some other options since she liked those two so much. Sure, we could've done all of this from our laptop. I saw value in spending 40 minutes driving to Duncanville to listen to presentations on these schools and to get my questions answered. I wanted her to learn more about how best to become a therapist at these colleges and what options they offer as far as internships and experiences that could aid her on this decision. Had the event been better attended, we probably don't get more than a few minutes with these people. Instead, we got almost 10 minutes with each of the schools she was interested in. This event is going to have me looking into the next virtual open house for Grinnell like my daughter attended on her own. It was pretty valuable to both of us as we had a great 40 minute conversation about colleges on our drive home.
  16. You mean his family will have to pay for it?
  17. I mean this sincerely, man. Take a break from the internet today.
  18. You've lost your mind. Good bye.
  19. Yes. They will. The right wing is absolutely giddy over this. Antifa! The libs! Someone stole a kids hat years ago! The right wing will use this as propaganda to further stoke the flames, and their sycophantic, brain washed Fox News watching incels will yell and scream about this endlessly. Meanwhile, they’ll ignore the attack on Paul Pelosi (in which Kirk called the attacker a “patriot”), the shootings of the Minnesota lawmakers, the federal judge’s son, and Gabby Gifford, the Tree of Life Bombing, the Wal-mart shooting, unmasked “federal agents” kidnapping people on American streets, and I could go on.
  20. too scared to answer direct questions but wants to do a civil war. Scary!
  21. Good reminder of why I stay out of the CR.
  22. @immamac Can you do something about the obvious misinformation in this fucking post? Hundreds of Deaths? Armed Wing of the Democratic Party? Meanwhile, the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers who have literally been cited by the president in a debate and have gone to jail for gun charges and sedition and a right-wing paramilitary group tried to kidnap a sitting Democratic governor. But there's no armed wing of the Republican Party?
  23. But you've already forgotten about the 3 dead kids in Denver today, so you've got that going for you.
