I don't even know with Gerry anymore. He's too much into pumping up [name prospect] that they're 4*++ or 5*+ or whatever the fuck they do over there. It's crazy how different their views are from other sites. They keep pounding the John Turntine is a 5* drum, yet they don't even have confirmation on his own weight. Same with them beating the drum that Cruz is the best C since [name literally anyone. Travis Frederick?] for Texas, but he can't beat out a below average Robertson. K. He's had at this point two off-seasons to get ready, and he's just an inch shorter at 6'3, yet weighs exactly the same at 312 LBS. How hard can it be to beat our Robertson, who wasn't even starting until games 8-9? Surely he knows the playbook by now? It's not like I'm trusting Flood, who thought it was a swell idea to start Stroh all those games, when it was obvious to anyone who isn't considered legally blind he fucking sucks. Anyway, I don't know what to think. I think Gerry locks into guys and just doesn't let up. He won't say the quiet part put loud, but he's hinted that Texas should have done more/gone harder after Ezavier Crowell, but he's happy with Cooper.

Kushner and Witkoff spontaneously enter Putin’s war game — Politico. Putin used a mix of charm, calculated delays, and overt threats to show the American envoys Russia’s position on peace with Ukraine, the outlet writes. Witkoff and Kushner enjoyed a walk around Moscow and lunch at an elite restaurant on Tuesday — the Russian president made them wait several hours before the meeting in the Kremlin. While the Americans killed time, Putin spoke to the press at an investment forum, accusing Europe of derailing the peace process and hinting at future escalation. As expected by those familiar with Putin’s habit of keeping foreign guests waiting, Tuesday’s talks began almost three hours later than the time announced by his press secretary — 5:00 p.m. In video released by the Kremlin, Putin greets Witkoff and Kushner and asks if they like Moscow; Witkoff replies, “It’s a wonderful city.” The meeting ended after midnight local time. In a post on X, Putin’s foreign policy adviser Dmitriev, who attended the talks, called the meeting “productive.” Putin’s aide Ushakov, also present, described the conversation as “useful, constructive, and very substantive,” but added that “a lot of work lies ahead.” Putin pointed to “destructive actions by the European side.” This may mean he will try to blame any failure of peace talks on the EU, which was conspicuously excluded from the meeting. In the days leading up to the Moscow talks, Putin showed no signs of backing down from his demand for Ukraine’s de facto capitulation, condemning Zelenskyy as an “illegitimate” leader with whom he supposedly cannot reach a deal. In fact, neither the earlier talks in Istanbul, nor the August summit in Alaska between Trump and Putin, nor Witkoff’s five previous visits to Moscow have led to any softening of the Kremlin’s position or its belligerent rhetoric. ——— Are we just going to ignore the fact that Putin jails and kills his political opponents and that he’s basically been a dictator for over 20 years? We need to stop trying to make a peace deal until Moscow wants to. This is ridiculous.

Bradley's resume is full of SEAL positions. As I mentioned upthread, I think those missions have much more grey area on the rules of engagement. But fuck him if he can't distinguish sending small crews into enemy territory from stopping a completely outgunned boat in waters you control He deserves to go to prison. I stumbled across this article the US Naval Institute that I found interesting that discusses the previous approach. Excerpt below.

That is, uh, their magic underwear for men. Women/girls have found it easier to hide theirs by rolling up the leg part so you don't see it. But that's what they get in their ceremony and once the ceremony has proceeded.

Bullshit. I know a lot of them. They could lecture at UT tomorrow on a wide range of things. Give me an 18D on any development project. Best medics in the world. Do not confuse SF with SOCOM. It is a component that was wrongly used. And McRaven is a SEAL. Not SF. SF set up their dive school. Not being a dick, but this is a subject I know well. -
