  2. No shit. Undergrad and law degrees both from Harvard, Harvard Law Review. Clerked for Breyer. Worked as a federal public defender and was on the Oversight Committee for the US Sentencing Guidelines. Served as a US District Court and Circuit Court judge. Totally unqualified.
  3. As long as you base your racist, misogynistic screeds on "facts" (most likely funded by Heritage / Cato / AEI / etc), you can say whatever you want and MAGA will have your back, especially when it supports their long-held views. I think that's why Charlie Kirk was so popular - he gave them permission to hold those views and not in the "because fuck you, that's why" Trump style. With Charlie, it was always more of a "you can't entirely prove my made-up facts wrong, so you can't really say I'm racist / misogynistic / etc."
  4. Chico's Tacos. I mean, you've gotta have em at least once. Are they the greatest thing you'll ever eat? Naah, but they're plenty tasty, and again, an institution. The whole menu is kind of an American treasure and a time capsule: Bring cash.
  5. Stanford's back, so I'm not sweating it anymore.
  6. User error...furk
  7. Chico’s. Meh.
  8. They're definitely going to try to fabricate a "trans ideology" motive here.
  9. And speaking of coffee, I bought six of those giant Starbucks bags of whole beans at Sam’s last month. The Winn-Dixie near me went out of business this summer, and in addition to scoring a bunch of 50% off wine I bought the last four large cans of Black Silk coffee at a 70% discount. I don’t normally buy pre-ground, but there is no way on God’s green earth I can function without a large amount of coffee every day.
  10. Those were turrible. Their current, more old school look is much better IMO. With the exception of black, of course.
  11. In that first clip, Charlie is referring to the Leviticus 19 passage that is often translated a few different ways, which says "Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart" or some form of "countryman" instead of Israelite. That's not the same as the quote from Jesus, which is contained in multiple Gospels, that he calls his followers to "love your neighbor as yourself." There is a very distinct difference between the two, in that the quote from Jesus is inclusive of all humans, not just Israelites, and extends that compassion to others no matter their nationality, race or ethnicity. It was a radically different commandment with a universal purpose than the one from Leviticus, which is what Charlie quotes, and I'm sure there's a good reason why he likes that verse instead. So telling Miss Rachel to go "crack open that Bible" as if she didn't know what the "love they neighbor" text meant, is just the cherry on top of the patronizing misinterpretation of her words and a complete misunderstanding of his own religion. That's not even getting into the whole old law vs new law discussion, and what still applies to the modern day law based on Jesus' teachings. Or even looking at all the examples of Jesus interacting with the sinful people and helping them regardless of if they were living in sin. It's just astonishing how modern day Christians have completely bastardized the teachings of Jesus and twisted it to reinforce their own bigotry and vengefulness against groups of people they love to hate.
  12. we better come out swinging
  13. You probably oughta stick with saying nice things about our future Minister of Correct Thinking and Re-Education of Apostates, who will be given full executive authority and power, because the Constitution doesn't actually contain any words barring detention of people for dissenting against the regime and tossing them in re-education camps for a decade. Go ahead, find that prohibition in the Constitution -- you CAN'T! Therefore, Trump has that power!
  14. Gluttons for punishment.
  15. nice, I did not know that. see also, python, monty - cheese shop. here, let me help you..... monty python cheese shop - Search
  16. I think the people are on Milwee, because he is the common denominator between Quinn and Arch. Quinn always had bad mechanics and they never got better. Arch had good mechanics and now they are a disaster. IF you watch 4 years of QBs displaying bad mechanics under the same staff it is not crazy to question their ability to teach mechanics.

  20. this is why I love Texas. We can argue and hate each other for what we think - but we will be there on Saturday to watch the game. Sunday, we will be doing other stuff. Monday, back to work. Eventually, we will get it right and then Nicole will take us paddle boarding and kill us all. the end?
  21. Enchubben likes that.
  22. Neither side thinks the either is worth a flip. In a society where it's common to go no-contact with your family, why not with people you don't know but only share a flag with?
  23. Wonder why he would do that?
  24. You're a fucking asshole. It's like you've never even heard of the jelly-of-the-month club, the PERFECT Christmas bonus. And yeah....I don't shop for fois gras. I do have some fresh boudin and some mollejas in the fridge, though. I don't trust my manservant to make a proper selection in such important matters.
  25. Wow, your mask is slipping off buddy. You can disagree with the politics of Joy Reid or Shelia Jackson Lee but they certainly do not exemplify a lack of brain power (see: MTG and Tommy Tuberville for good examlples of white affirmative action hires with double digit IQs) and to lump a highly-educated and respected jurist on the highest court in the nation as undeserving of that position based on that same attack is fucking racist and shameful. If you've ever read her opinions or even bothered to read what those who worked with her or even have studied her work then you'd never agree with Kirk there lest you be called equally racist. Because it is. The only reason Kirk attacked her intelligence was because she's a black woman with power and extreme intelligence and that threatens assholes like you. And for the record, DEI has NOTHING AT ALL to do with hiring quotas or giving any advantages to any particular group or cohort, and the correct full acronym is DEIA. I find it telliing that you ding dongs who cite DEI always leave that A off (it stands for accesibility, btw) because you are too uninformed to know about its existence. if you did, you might be smart enough to figure out why right-winger racist propagandists like Charlie Kirk never mention it since workplace disabilities can cross all demographics. The GOP and its billionaire benefactors worked for decades to undermine and ultimately ban affirmative action programs through its hijacking of the judiciary, and once they got their way they knew they didn't have that racist canard to kick around anymore, so they repackaged the same racist playbook (largely in respons to the BLM protest) by digging up an obscure policy in corporatons and higher education that simply sought to expand the pool of applicants and make sure that all backgrounds were welcome. Nothing in DEIA was ever about giving hiring advantages or admittance advantages to one group over another, but you dipshits fell for the racist lie. And here you are repeating it in defense of a racist piece of shit who got rich peddling odious rhetoric to rubes like you.
