Imo, best Longhorn RB performance on a Monday Night game since Earl in 1978. That night against the Dolphins Earl had very similar yards, but 4 TDs compared to Bijans 2. Bijan had better receiving stats giving him the nod in yards from scrimmage. I want to see Bijan play for the Rams, except they will probably have a new QB next year. Scratch that, trying to think of a team that has a really good young QB and all I can think of at the moment is the bears with the USC great QB.
Agreed. Especially with the beer. gives it time to cook out. Also tried the suggestion above about not browning all the meat, and leave some of it raw to put once the liquids are added. I think it reduced by about a 3rd before I we ate it Probably the best chili I've made so far.
This and this and more of this. He’s the easiest longhorn to cheer for and damn is he good. He wasn’t even jump cutting on the 93 yarder. Please chiefs trade whoever for him. It’s offensive for allegeir to steal carries
Dude what the hell are you on right now. Were you not referring to the 2009 NCG between Texas and Bama here? "Yes. The SEC was not progressive offensively in 2009 but the trench play was still miles above the Big12. We learned that in the 1st quarter of the National Championship game. The SEC had 144 players drafted from 2010-2012. The Big12 had 85 over the same time frame, with most of those being skill players. Look into it." What other game would you have been referring to?
Something else to read about which I personally find fascinating is the impact of the American revolution on Christianity. The Presbyterians broke from the Church of Scotland because of 'Merica.. Members of the Anglican church were cut off from the Church of England due to the war. Apostolic succession became a major issue during the war. American Episcopalians eventually gained succession through the Scots after the revolution. A little loophole they found. The followers of John Wesley who were Anglicans at the time and became Methodists ended up rejecting the concept. Apparently Wesley himself sought succession through the Eastern Orthodox church. The Episcopalians offered the Methodists succession post revolution but they rejected it. The idea of an episcopal church structure was rejected in favor of congregationalism because it aligned better with American political values just shows how malleable Christianity can be.
