They share a family tree which (somewhat surprisingly) branches off from the sober and staid folks at your local Wesleyan Methodist Church. Holinesses started within Wesleyan churches as a “second work of grace”— sanctification and Christian perfection which follows conversion. Holiness Pentecostals added the “baptism of the Holy Spirit” which is evidenced by the charismatic stuff: tongue speaking, etc. Within that group, a second group decided Wesley’s holiness was bunk (“finished work”) and that the only acts of grace are conversion and Holy Spirit baptism. Then a third group among the finished work group tossed out trinitarianism and became Oneness Pentecostals. Snake Handlers are Holiness Christians and often Holiness Pentecostals but are marginal even within that group. I view these groups with fascination and some bit of sympathy. A lot of radical egalitarianism, a complete lack of concern with the mainstream of society, and a near total rejection of its aesthetics. And uninterested in temporal power and influence structures, just concerned with another world entirely. Definitely intense groups but not quite cults in the compound and discipline type way. Actual, real radical, counter-culture that does not get profiles in national magazines or the movie treatment.
L Wingo is our #1 WR. Let’s see if he’d be a number one on the 12 playoff teams… Indiana no Ohio state no, not even number 2 Georgia no Tech no Oregon no Tech no Aggie no James Madison yes Tulane yes Alabama no Oklahoma maybe Ole Miss no Wingo and Mosley are 2s with Mosley being a 3 on other team Livingston is a 3-4 McCutcheon is a 4-5 OL issues need a complete overhaul but we also need a legit number 1 receiver.
Swap physicals for exchange-traded funds (SLV or GLD) and use securities based lending. The effective cost of the instruments is no different than paying for your own vault/securities. And similar tax treatment too. Or use metals futures. They’re already margined, 60/40 tax treatment could be better for some.
I recall there were 2 issues with sidewalks and curbs on alba and later on Golf followed. There are only a handful of houses on Alba, in terms of facing alba and they are relatively small lots. Some of the owners complained that walkers would effectively be walking next to their front windows. This was clearly an exaggeration. Other street homeowners were concerned that curbs and sidewalks would be forced on them as well.
Rigjt but they’re incredibly influential and deserve at least a genealogy type treatment. The actual Met policy aimed at Masons is that anyone has to declare membership in a “hierarchical organization where members pledge to support each other.” Which would seem to include Catholics, the Church of England, Lions, and Rotary too. For the real vintage, finely-crafted Eastern European boomer schizo take, look up Rotary conspiracies which I’ve come across in the wild. I never a knew a Mason who was secretive about membership. The rites and internal stuff was not for the public, but none of them hide membership (that I know of?). I guess with the bizarre anti-masonry of Scotland Yard you might. If 2/3 of your workforce is concerned about Masons that is a cry for help and not validation.
Their coach left, and the AD didn’t hire the guy they wanted. This isn’t a Big 12 thing, and more a “there are literally no rules in college football thing”. My guess is we end up with a shitload of Washington State’s guys.
Lioness was shit too. The whole premise of the show was Zoe Saldaña's asshole character being an extra hard ass to make sure the new undercover marine (who was a badass) doesn't get discovered and killed, yet at the apex of her main mission, she passes her NSA-level type background search from enemy security, but then gets discovered by a simple google type search with a marine graduation picture? Fucking dumb. That's a classic Taylor Sheridan, "it's 4 am, I'm out of drugs and going to bed" type writing. Landman I assume, we're all just hate watching the non Billy Bob scenes. Andy Garcia is ok too.
