  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, this year will be my first at COTA for F1, but I saw a Ferrari event there . . . holy shit. Twelve thimbles pumping away at 12 krpm is insanely loud. Multiply by # of vehicles.
  3. This. Find a piece of shit white trash dude who can't keep a job and hits his girlfriend, and ask him what he does...."well....sometimes I do drywall work. But really, I'm a cage fighter!"
  4. Dan Marino is rolling in his grave looking at that hot garbage.
  5. Mix mayo and spicy brown mustard in equal parts. Add Kikkoman teriyaki to taste.
  6. Yeah, there's something to be said for that. At an Austin FC match last year, Gina Chavez sang the anthem. And goddammit, I teared up a bit. That's MY anthem, for MY country. It belongs to all of us. And if a fucking hispanic lesbian -- so utterly hated by half our country for no fucking good reason whatsoever -- can stand up their and sing it, and own it, because this is HER country too...then goddammit, I can own it too. That's the hell of it. I love this country. I am a real, actual patriot. Not a performative lying piece of shit. How can you claim to be a patriot but hate half the people in this country for no good reason, be okay with sodomizing the Constitution, and support installing a monarch? Fuck the. I'm a patriot. I believe in what this country can be, that it can be better, that it is capable of moving forward. I've got generations of my family standing behind me who risked it all for this country. We literally fought as anti-fascists. No, the fascists can't have my country. They can't have my anthem, my flag. Fuck them for daring to claim it as they betray it.
  7. If you watch the Miami game, Lagway didn't look right physically or mentally. He looked injured and slow running, and he looked completely lost trying to read the defense Their one good drive was almost exclusively running the ball, but if they fall behind the chains in a series they're probably fucked
  8. It is indeed a 51. The 47 is a beautiful beast in it's own right. EDIT, Jimmy it is loud but a there is something incredible about a 1,500 HP machine. There's nothing else like it.
  9. I don't think I've ever seen one in flight, but that engine has to be incredbly loud, right?
  10. Fins black uniforms suck.
  11. For those debating the exact geographic definition of the Deep South, there really isn't one. For me, one strong indicator would be whether an area voted for George Wallace in 1968, when the Dixiecrats left the Democratic Party after the passage of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1968 (see election results below). While not perfect, I think it captures some of the geographic vagaries fairly well. I will say, however, this particular indicator breaks down for South Carolina, for whatever reason. That's pretty surprising, considering they were the first to secede. Today, I'd say it still remains largely accurate, except for some of the bigger cities that decided to embrace economic and social progress during the early boom in migration from the North to the "New South," which is basically what drives the economy of what we call the "Sun Belt" nowadays: DFW, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, the Research Triangle, etc.
  12. They are ranked above only Miss State in academics for SEC schools. You got to have horrible academics to be next to last in the Booger Eating Moron league.
  13. No one will care but message boards fans in week 11
  14. Few things in life are worse than being at a sports bar when it’s MMA night, 90% of the MMA fans are disgusting trash. Somehow Trump made them even more annoying
  15. Isn't he also supposed to get a "great wound" that will be "miraculously" healed?
  16. Then OU should definitely play Mateer. He has nothing to worry about. Looking forward to it.
  17. No mention of defensive tackle Caleb Banks, probably their best player. I'm assuming he's out
  18. Spurs 25-26: prepare ya anus cause we're gonna deep vein thrombosis the whole damn league, if ya know what I'm sayin'
  19. Seems like the Battle of the Can't Beat Anyone is going to be more interesting than Bungles/Donkeys. Miami has the basic -2.5 for playing at home, O/U 43.5. This game could be so ugly it is beautiful.
  20. I have never seen a clearer demonstration of the fact that anyone who calls themselves "alpha" (or calls other "beta") are the furthest thing from alpha that you could ever imagine.
  21. Man, the things I heard . . . what an embarrassment.
  22. Paul McGinley talked a ton (nearly non stop) about analytics, mental prep, team building, etc during the broadcast. Given he's closely involved with the Euro Ryder Cup team, he clearly knows what he's talking about and not just making shit up to fill up time. On the flip side, you didn't hear anything like that coming from Azinger or Bones or Smylie - either they're not involved at all (which for Smylie, fine, but Azinger?) or the US doesn't do any of the stuff McGinley was talking about. I'm guessing the US doesn't do any of the stuff McGinley talked about. And if he talked about that much, he's probably hiding 3x the stuff. Totally different mindsets. Totally different approaches. One clearly works.
  23. Jets at Dolphins (-2.5, 43.5) on ESPN first.
  24. Starts off slow but gets pretty good.
