  1. Past hour
  2. Right now I would take a two-legged amputee that could catch anything other than charges.
  3. I think it would be fun to have a spin off series with all the wild things that happened during the mass takeover. People literally in the middle of trying to kill each other just dropping their weapons. Wars ceasing. Hairy midair situations. Lots of interesting stuff I’m not thinking of.
  4. Masterful non-update. Nahlin remains undefeated in selling bullshit.
  5. the portal killed the blue bloods and the SeC
  6. This is so stupid. I like to turn my phone off during a movie. Let me use the damn paper and pen halfway through when I want another beer/refill/snack
  7. That’s 100% what it is despite what they say. Now you just need food runners instead of waiters. And a bunch of assholes will now have their phones out throughout the movie. How can you enforce a no texting policy when people need their phones to browse your menu. In San Antonio you can digital order until the movie starts and after that it’s back to paper. That would be fine.
  8. Welp there goes any future trips to a theater. I'll have to upgrade my 70" OLED to 2 stories.
  9. My favorite time was when we had Vince and Colt. Not really sure why it was so much fun.
  10. Lanning is like the villain (or the Brain in Pinky and the Brain) in every movie who tells everyone what he's about to do only to get shoved in a Costco trashcan. Cignetti is more like someone who doesn't recognize good or evil, only moral flexibility, and will use it at any chance he gets. There is no morality/immorality, there just is, therefore he's more dangerous.
  11. This comment is really begging for the "you can act like a man" gif, but I'd rather light a candle than curse your darkness. I was in college for the prime Mack / VY years. They were amazing. I've tried to follow Texas football closely since then to varying degrees of success. The Strong years were the only time I really stopped enjoying it. I'm having as much fun now as I did at any point (other than 2005 / 2009). Remember that recruiting is its own animal, and generally the realm of obsessives. Most fans barely know our roster, and they certainly don't follow the portal. They don't know what the rules are, and as long as the QB and a few other stars stay the same, they don't care. Because the product on the field is still great. Go to games, watch on TV, talk ball with your buddies. If you're not enjoying the recruiting side of things, or if its diminishing your enjoyment of Texas football on gameday, I recommend you stop following it. Because having fun watching / attending the games is what actually matters, and you can still easily do that. No reason to get apathetic about gameday.
  12. Last night was fun as hell. Don’t care who wins but would like another badass game
  13. LTtxfan replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
Crazy numbers for Roster building... Percentage of games started from the Portal of the 4 semifinalists: Ole Miss (66.3), Indiana (65.4), Miami (53.6) and Oregon (42.6) Texas was only 17.0% this season.
  14. That should really help their image problems
  15. Kenny Powers and 2nd isn't close.
  16. I feel like this has nothing to do with making the food ordering experience faster, well maybe for Alamo, and everything do with cutting the numbers of servers required and paying less for food runners instead. A digital order ahead option would be fine. This is just dumb.
  17. Yeah we were about to have fun.
  18. All but the most elite of elite freshmen require at least a full year of development before being of any value to a team contending for a title. I'm saying he's not one of those. He may never develop. But at minimum we know he wasn't an early bloomer. He's behind even the other 3 freshmen we took
  19. Mid-90s to about 2015 was really great. I probably personally enjoy college football somewhere around 20% as much as I did back then.
