Diego Pavia - The Chihuahua that thinks he's a Mastiff
William Bludworth replied to immamac's topic in Football
Just in case she has to, maybe, uh, she already has, but I need that information to be passed on to the proper authorities. So her name on OF is....? -
The real question is, did anybody here think this year would be great?

Man, but damn, even the Duvernay? I always thought that was a classic, even in my 20s. Am I getting old? Fml -
Just remember, heβll need some reliable senior advisors to guide him in the West Wing. We stand ready to serve. And to help him pull fart pranks on visiting dignitaries. You know, in law school, I was honored as βmost likely to belch out loud at a state dinner.β Legit true thing that happened. I think we could work well together.

Ah, OK. That makes sense, but Atkinson plays Lefau's position, which is inside, so maybe they just put him there to see what he can do? I just know Barnes is an off-ball LB like Hill, but Atkinson can play side to side as an inside. Regardless, it should be interesting to see how the LB corps shakes out. -
Most annoying Christmas Movies

The Grinch is a prime example, but Carey has his moments. The original cartoon works a lot better. -
I shit you not, he wanted to talk about career possibilities over dinner tonight. He was all about identifying the job with the most money and the least work. Options I can recall he pondered include NBA player, YouTube personality known for sitting on the couch and playing video games, grocery store worker, and unspecified musician. He doesn't play anything, but he has a very good ear like his mother and aunt and they're both skilled musicians, so I've long believed that this is where his bread may be buttered once he gets introduced to/interested in an instrument. Oh, and he also mused about becoming president.

San Antonio Spurs 2025-26 - Release the Kraken
Coach pop a bitch replied to Mitch Cumsteen's topic in Basketball
Those turnovers were the reason they had a chance to win it. Needs to be better in those clutch situations. He was lost on the final possession and got bailed out. Glad it happened but he needs to protect the ball better -

Iβm here for the Giannis trade rumors. I believe his camp leaked that the only destination he considered over the summer was the Knicks, right?

The best synopsis of this show Iβve heard. From the Ringer Prestige podcast: βThe humor in this show is so weird that what makes it unique is that the individual viewer believes no one else could possibly find this funny other than themselves.β

It was nice to see Will finally be able to defend himself. I like where his arc is headed. -

Depends. Theyβll probably pawn the trophy to buy meth and then ransack the Heisman house

Stumbled right into the best movie I have seen this year. I think that even @billfromlaketravis will like this. I love Colorado and this movie is set in the San Luis Valley. One of the harsher yet beautiful areas of Colorado. A massive fire wiped out a bunch of homes and people come together to start over. What a masterpiece of a movie. I think this is one that will resonate with almost everyone who posts here. Josh OβConnor, a Brit, does a great job in this role. Iβm more familiar with him from his work in the UK, but he really nailed this role.

Think theyβll let his family in the Heisman house commercials next season if he wins? -
Sark will always take an elite WR someone else has developed for us, regardless of who we have on the roster, as he should. We don't seem to be developing them, so might as well take one that someone else has. Every leading WR we've had since Sark got here, outside of Worthy, has been a transfer. Mitchell was just 169 yards from tying Worthy in yards, but had 11 TD's to his 5 in 2023. 2024 it was Golden, Helm, and then Bond. So outside of Worthy in 2022, and we went count Milton, he's taken a WR no matter what. He isn't going to stop unless the well runs dry for a season. This year Wingo was the leading WR, but Mosley didn't even start playing until week 9 at Miss St. So in 5 games he's racked up 23/357/3 15.6 ypc. Who tf knows what he could have done had he played from the beginning.

I read somewhere (here, I think?) that the plan for Spence next year is to move into the Trey Moore LB role I also think they'll probably use Atkinson similar to how they used Anthony Hill as a freshman -

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
RomaVicta replied to GreenspointTexas's topic in Football
I was going to opine earlier that the carousel has not really been that crazy except for the money. I would have been wrong. It's just that all the crazy got focused on Penn State. I suspect that a lot of players on the current team may look to the portal instead of staying on that sunken ship. No recruits. No coach. No winning. Penn State may have imposed the death suicide penalty on themselves. They should never have emerged from the Sandusky/Paterno scandal with so little damage. They're making up for it now. I think you can see hell from here, ol' buddy! -
