Damn he drained that? I saw the approach but looked away for a minute.

So far so good for round 3.

Yeah, great tee shot and sand wedge to within 3ft on #9 for birdie.... Spieth now with 1 shot lead after 9holes with 4 birdies.

Cameron Champ is black?

Wiki:  "Champ is of mixed black and white descent. His father is biracial (black and white), while Cameron's mother is white."

He's also aggy...

I just turned this on, so apologies if this is old news, but did Dechambeau just spend the quarantine shooting up roids with Barry Bonds and Jose Canseco?  This is so blatant it’s laughable.   Like when David Boston showed up to NFL camp after a few months with 60 pounds of extra muscle and a new jawline.

Pretty sure it happened during the offseason.

What are the black fans (moving air, not spectators) around the greens? Something to do with the bent grass?

Yes. Colonial was the first course in the south to have bent greens. They are a bitch to maintain in the Texas heat.

Weakass bogey on #15 from fairway 90yds out for Spieth.... Now a 5-way tie for lead at -12. (Jordan's first bogey on the back 9 all week.)

Jordan rebounds with a great tee shot on par 3 #16.

DAMN... pulls birdie putt badly, so ends up with par. 😠

(Seems like Jordan just lost his concentration... maybe mental fatigue on a hot day in first tournament back??)

Now a 6-way tie for the lead... WOW

Spieth falling apart on a 137yd wedge approach shot on #17 from the fairway -- badly blocks shot into sand trap on right.

Mental mistakes again...

Awesome up and down for par... Crazy Jordan!! 🤘

Schauffele birdies 18 to go -13 and sole leader

Back nine for Spieth, no birdies and 1 bogey.  One shot off the lead, and will be in group that's two ahead of the final group on Sunday...

At least Jordan shot -2 (68)... much better than a lot of other recent Saturday rounds for him. 🤘

Fear probably isn’t the right word to use but I bet if you polled tour players on who they would rather not be tied for the lead with going into the back 9 of the final round, Rory would be at the top of the list.

That's also probably right.

And I like Schauffele to close it out today. He's a little badass in the making.

Best thing I've found so far. Not HD but it's watchable and isn't buffering.

https://ustv247.tv/golf-channel/

CBS coverage doesn't start until 2pm CST.

Till 2pm cst, the NBC Sports App has it too (via Golf Channel).  If you subscribe to NBC Sports Gold you can watch the featured pairings as well.

Looks like ESPN+ has featured holes today

He’d be at the bottom of the list today. +5 through 8.

Kinda at the point of just hoping for a Top 10 finish for Spieth today.... crazy watching how much his game flutuates right now.

Jordan bogeys #6 with an average wedge approach shot into the green followed by a terrible 3-putt for bogey...

it will be interesting to see how Rory handles this.  he may say screw Fort Worth, i'm never coming back.  i only played here because it was the first event.

or he could come back next year to try and redeem himself.

i'm guessing the former.

Colonial has often conflicted with a European event that Rory likes to play, so yeah probably Rory's last Colonial...
