  1. At least we’re not in the dust bowl, or the potato famine, or the plague, or the numerous calamities around the world… it’s summer in Texas. It’s hot, same as it ever was. grab a ledge, or grab a beer, or hit me up for a beer on me if you’re ever swinging through my way. You’d find I’m a pretty level-headed person who enjoys people and a good conversation. or hate me, I don’t give 2 shits Is this the dawning?
  2. Where the fuck have I said to not do better? Fucking read dumbass.
  3. Not once have I said the climate is not changing. Not once have I said it hasn’t changed and shifted in the course of humanity. It also coincides with quite natural changes in the rotation of the earth and cycles of the sun, just as it always has, just like the ice cores show. we absolutely need to do better to conserve the gifts we have been given regarding resources, but for fuck‘S sake, we do not and cannot control the climate.
  4. It’s not disingenuous by any means. You seem to think we are literally more important than the entire planet and the sun. Fuck your own face
  5. Dude...Biological organisms don't change the climate....much. The fucking sun and the earth change the climate. Biological organisms do their best to react to said changes and either adapt, evolve and survive...or they turn into oil, more or less.
  6. Maybe. Or Bradford stays up to be the spot starter/long reliever that was Dunning's spot at the beginning of the year. We'll see.
  7. You're attempting to say that human beings can control the climate. I'm saying that we cannot, but we need to do a better job at being conservationists
  8. Awesome! And during the age of the dinosaurs Co2 was much higher than it is now. The fact increased Co2 actually helps us feed everyone living on the rock
  9. 20ish percent oxygen. Been up to 35% around 300mm years ago, but been around 20% for roughly 400mm years. There's a reason that millions of times more organisms went extinct before us than exist today...Changes have been happening constantly and little changes change the biodiversity. I know you hardheads read this in me saying that "I'm denying this, or i'm an asshole that". That's fine. You can think that. I've never said we shouldn't do everything smart to be more conservative. I'm only saying that there's literally only so many things we can do. We can control our resources. Controlling and conserving resources absolutely does not mean that we are going to control the climate, because we cannot fucking control the climate.
  10. I've never said it was a hoax. I've always said, and it is a 100% scientific fact, that climate change is the entire history of our planet. Yes, we make an impact on it and can infinitesimally make adjustments to it, but it is not the driving factor of climate on earth and never will be.
  11. Ok. You keep telling yourself that 20 year measurements mean anything in geologic time. Texas was an ocean. Lots of data that locates "Atlantis" in North Africa. We have an affect on the climate, we absolutely do not and cannot control it. The absurdity to think we do and can control the climate is Idiocracy. Should we do more and everything we can to conserve and limit our effects on the environment??? Absolutely! And I stand by it and live by it everyday. But thinking we can control it... That's hilarity at it's finest In the past 600 years you've been able to have wineries in England, and skate on the Thames during winter. We can't control shit. The burning ball of fire 93mm miles from us controls that, along with a 23 degree tilt towards the burning ball and a polar wobble that ambulates every 26000 years. I 100% believe we should do everything we can to take care of our environs, but that's literally all we can do.
  12. A quarter of a century is puppynuts in the grand scheme of time.
  13. It's the new normal for now, until it isn't.
  14. Put all the tuition money in it at $.30, fly that rocket to the moon lambos, then sell the moon lambo for all 4 years of tuition.
  15. Pretty much. Idiots kept a mountain of tires right underneath an overpass. melted the concrete.
  16. Hello furnace, my old friend. I've come to bake in you again. Because the heat came in creeping Left my arms and cheeks glistening And the swamp, that has crept into my ass Shall not pass Until heard the sounds, of NOEL.
  17. Nice to see that us central Texans are the center bullseye for that above average gradient. Jeez
  18. There was a tire fire underneath 95 in Philly about 25 years ago that did the same thing
  19. I did a normal 2:1 pepper to salt (volume) ratio, then added the same amount of coffee as pepper. Probably ended up being about 4tbs pepper and coffee with 1.5tbs kosher salt and maybe 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika. I had also already dry brined the steaks for 2 hours used some olive oil to bind, and had a water pan in the smoker underneath the steaks. even the one that was medium was juicy as shit. 6 adults and 4 kids ate on it and it we had a little leftover (enough to make tacos today for lunch). Even my wife was saying “we need to do those steaks again sometime soon.
  20. Got about 2-2.3 inches in right at an hour last night. Gonna make 99 today extra steamy. But the yard and garden are happy
  21. Tomahawks from last night. Smoked for 1.5 hours and finished on the grill. Salt, pepper, coffee, smoked paprika rub Got a few degrees past where I wanted, but they were absolutely fantastic.
