  1. R.I.P. Redfoot and Dave "bottoms up" Ward.
  2. It was a blast- absolutely fantastic show and the sound system setup at Knockdown Center was well beyond what Emo's had for the Austin shows earlier this year. It fucking ruled. @mycox and I bar hopped through Brooklyn before and after the show and eventually called it quits around 4:00a.m. I just got back to my hotel in Manhattan 😀 The crowd here tonight was noticeably younger than the Austin show I attended back in April. Awesome time
  3. He's massively insecure, in case you haven't noticed.
  4. Awesome news, MIA! Super happy for you. Holy shit, gnarly indeed!
  5. McMurtry in the Gallery last night. Damn good as always with a decent range across his 35+ years of albums, although a little heavier than usual from the last 3. Heading to NYC tomorrow for LCD Soundsystem and other shenanigans.
  6. There's a good chance I'm in for this. Immamac's Zilker home is stumbling distance from my place and at the moment I have no travel plans.
  7. Man, you are one dumb motherfucker.
  8. I assumed he was posting as William Bludworth these days.
  9. I left Green Mesquite with a to-go Frito Pie maybe 20 minutes ago... and it's one of the best things I've had this year.
  10. He once held an opponent's wife's hand... in a jar of acid... at a party. Finished it this morning- great series.
  11. That's exactly what Big Sinkhole wants you to think.
  12. Looking good. Wreck 'Em!
  13. Same here.
  14. Maybe there'll be an update in 10 days or so. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/white-house-nine-universities-compact-federal-funds/
  15. Prolly stepped away to watch some kiddie porn or molest a few kids.
  16. 43-20 Tech. Wreck 'Em!
  17. No, absolutely not. That's up there with the dumbest snake oil shit I've heard all year. Don't ever talk to that person again.
  18. Agreed. I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian but ended up eating there a bit and everything I ever had was damn good.
  19. I watched it a couple of years ago after seeing the first few episodes of s2 at a film festival shortly before it premiered. Those episodes were so wtf/ridiculous, especially without having seen s1, that I later watched all of s1 and then the remainder of s2 as it was released. Giamatti being in s2 is what got me to commit. Overall it was fun, but like a lot of stuff from Spain they get so hung up on religious-oriented tropes that it becomes tiresome/laughable. I get that it's just their culture, but after watching a lot of their stuff it has started to wear on me. Fun series and I was bummed they stopped after s2.
  20. Yeah, that was the joke dude
  21. A lyric from James McMurtry's Talkin' at the Texaco comes to mind, "It's a small town, son, and we all support the team."
