  1. FWIW in case you've considered it, Paxlovid eliminated my symptoms in ~12 hours.
  2. FWIW, RPM has shown himself to be an idiot across a wide variety of threads/topics. You shouldn't feel the need to placate him, but props for offering a concrete response.
  3. Good call, and I'm confident in assuming that Derka would never come close to sniffing a regular job, much less doing any work. Motherfucker does nothing but mooch off of our taxes as far as I can tell. Fuck that fucking loser waste of space. What a piece of shit.
  4. I just finished episode 2 (Religion)- definitely some good laughs in that one.
  5. The power came back on ~45 minutes after the post above. It stayed on for a minute or two then out again... then came back on again 10 minutes later and has stayed on with a couple of blinks. I'm hoping it holds but at least have had some coffee now so if it goes out again it was a nice reprieve.
  6. Coming up on 24 hours without power (78704), good times. The outage status has been updated to "One or more crews have been assigned" but I suppose that can still mean sometime tomorrow before they get to it.
  7. Well, fwiw, there were people talking and breathing in all of them.
  8. Monday evening I took my first dose of Paxlovid and when I woke up Tuesday morning the fever, chills, and headache were gone and have not returned- all that remains is some lingering congestion. Fingers crossed things hold (and of course finishing out the Paxlovid in hopes of preventing the rebound experience some have reported).
  9. As of today I have Covid for the first time. I woke up with chills, fever, and congestion. A few hours later I did a home test and it was positive. I called my GP's office to see if there was anything to do beyond just ride it out and they gave me a Paxlovid prescription- just took the first dose. I'm current on vaccinations so hopefully it stays mild. The only symptoms so far have been chills, congestion, and fever (topped out at 102 this morning but has gone down a little since then). Not sure how I avoided it for so long. I've been out and about most days since Spring 2021- many festivals, travel, etc. and somehow had avoided it until now.
  10. I watched ep1 yesterday and thought it was very uninteresting but was planning to at least try ep2 today. That didn't happen, I'm done with this show after 1 episode. It's not for me.
  11. I loved it. I hadn't seen the trailer and didn't know what it was about beyond the 2-sentence summary so I don't know if that aspect affected my enjoyment (no expectations going in). There's a whole lot going on and a lot of laughs. After getting into the swing of it I felt similarly as when watching Everything Everywhere All at Once- just roll with it and enjoy the ride w/out worrying about what's next or where it is going. There's a lot of creativity and artistry to appreciate in this one. It's a lot of fun, but I can see how it wouldn't be for everybody.
  12. Definitely worth watching. I saw it at a film festival back in September and of the 20+ films I saw that week it was in my top 2.
  13. Good news- Tiddies still exits. I ordered a pair ~10 years ago and they are just as I remembered from the early 80s https://tiddiesshack.com/
  14. Owned by Hollis Jones and the Richeson family no doubt.
  15. Yeah, RPM is wrong on this one. The Mayfield ones are separate and not owned by Richeson.
  16. Sentenced to 11.25 years followed by 3 years of supervised release. (Prosecution asked for 15 years from the report I heard)
  17. 0.3 miles for me for 1st-5th, which is equivalent to my regular walk from my place to my neighborhood bar. The more things change, the more they stay the same I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. I mean, I'm hammered at a bar right now but ultimately it sounds like, based on your description, this wouldn't be happening if the drilling wasn't happening.
