  1. Will you have to schedule the sexy time during a 1 hour massage or are you sending her for the "day at the spa" while you take care of it? SB thread is that way.
  2. Definitely no expert on this, but I'm shocked that at your weight and activity level that you aren't still losing relatively rapidly at 1500 calories per day. How are you getting your calories. Can you post a representative sample of of a few days of what you eat and drink?
  3. Another The Crown watcher checking in. No doubt in my mind that Charles asked the, "how dark will the baby be?" question. As it pertains to the, "the new baby will not have a title, nor security" issue, I took that to have been discussed / decided while she was pregnant with him. This would have been before they stepped away. That seemed to be one issue that led to them wanting to move away from being "Senior" members of the royal family to "junior" members or whatever it was called. I can't say I blame them on that. Sounded like they were already being treated as junior so wanted to make it official and ideally be able to live their life in a little more 'normal' fashion than those of the "senior" members. Back to things learned from The Crown... pretty much every "senior" member of the royal family (except the sitting monarch) is straight fucked from having a life whose primary purpose is this mythical / mysterious responsibility to protect the monarch, while literally nothing would happen if the monarchy no longer existed in this day and age. Also, I can't wait for the Saturday Night Live take on this whole thing. 🤣
  4. I can't believe the adjuster is saying to wait. Getting them engaged pronto is critical. Agree with LD, take a bunch of pics / video, etc. and then start the process of getting the water removed and pipe repaired. Mold is NOT your friend.
  5. I have read a little about this and I'm interested but I'm struggling to see the "value" in this. Cryptocurrencies are exchangeable for other things while these seem to be an attempt at a novel way to create something of value. I am but a simple man and as a result I will most likely miss out on the untold fortunes to be made in owning a glorified .gif
  6. I think Macanudo-ette #2 is still underage
  7. Yes, I've heard 2nd hand of people who had NG generators systems in the Houston area this week that have basically been useless. I don't fully understand that, nor did the person who told me the story. Thoughts?
  8. Store #6590 Store phone number - 979-822-7344 If you meant something else please let me know and I can try to find it
  9. Have a friend who got Moderna dose 1 on Monday at a CVS in college station. Drove through the ice / snow to get there, system down at location when she arrived but they gave her the shot. Then yesterday she gets an email that her dose 2 appointment set for mid March has been cancelled. No other explanation. She called the location who passed her to the national CVS number. The national CVS number passed her to the CVS Covid hotline who told her "sorry but all appointments are booked, but that new appointments might open between now and then. Good luck." Anybody have ideas of other ways to address this? Anybody have a CVS hookup that might get a better response than "sorry and good luck"?
  10. 119 in Phoenix back in the late 90s and -39 in Calgary in 2006. Landed in Calgary that afternoon, checked in to hotel and my co-worker and I planned to walk across the street (literally) for dinner. As we walked out the doorman asked if he could get us a cab. We said, we are just walking right over there (pointing to the restaurant) and he said "are you sure"? We said we were sure and then realized our mistake by the time we reached the corner but were too prideful to turn back. We did get a cab to go back to the hotel after dinner though.
  11. As a show of solidarity with my power deficient Surly brothers I just turned off some auxiliary lighting in a room we never go into. For real though, I hope everyone gets their power back on soon. Heard from a friend a bit ago who moved to a hotel only to have the power go out at the hotel about an hour after he and his family checked in.
  12. Blanket rolls up with all these features also. My wife graduated in a class of 14 kids from there about 30 years ago. The Valedictorian (not my wife) went into labor 15 minutes after the graduation ceremony ( I swear it's true )
  13. Hearing stories that the combination of applications for 2021 Fall and deferrals of kids originally accepted from Fall 2020 who are now planning to attend in 2021 have resulted in an unprecedented amount of demand for whatever spots UT (and I'm sure other schools) have available for Fall 2021 entry.
  14. Our 2nd round funded on Friday morning. Thankful to have it and glad the process was much smoother than 1st round. Now to get the 1st round forgiveness finalized.
  15. We've been in line for forgiveness since early October. They have asked us for additional supporting docs 3 times (as recently as last week). Hoping it will be finished soon. I am still a little unclear on whether our 2nd draw application has officially been submitted to the SBA or not.
  16. From what I have read the SBA had / has a glitch in their application portal for 2nd draw applications. They (SBA) were not allowing 2nd draw applications to be uploaded if there was a pending forgiveness application for the 1st draw. There was nothing in any documentation that require the forgiveness application to be processed / finalized, etc. Hopefully they can get that fixed pronto. 17. Da, I'm thinking next time the job won't be left to something as unreliable as a nerve agent.
  18. Good point, they are dumping a TON on marketing. Somebody has to pay for those ads. My birthday is coming up and I asked for this. I'll post a review once it arrives.
  19. We planned a last minute trip to WDW January 6-10. Stayed at the Riviera Resort and overall had a good time. PARKS: Park capacity limits are nice but certainly not a line eliminator on the most popular rides. Having said that, we got to ride everything we had interest in with our longest wait (60 minutes) for anything being that stupid Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Rail at Hollywood. Most rides had waits of 15 mins or less and the premium rides were usually waits of between 30-45 minutes. The virtual queue system for the Galaxy's Edge ride is kind of frustrating but I'm not sure what the alternative is. Basically they open the system on their app at 7 AM for people who have Hollywood Studios reservations for that day and give out spots until they are full. Unfortunately they sell out in approximately 5 seconds. No joke. There is a 2nd round of spots available on the app at 2pm for people who are physically in the park at 2pm that day. Those spots sold out in about 12 seconds. Fortunately we got spots in that 2nd group on our day at Hollywood. The ride (and that whole Star Wars area) is pretty neat. The Tron ride being built at Magic Kingdom looks like it is going to be awesome. Not sure when it will open but I'll look forward to that on our next trip. We went to Epcot each night to ride 1 or 2 rides and have dinner. They are undergoing some pretty significant renovations in the front part of the park. Not sure exactly what the plans are but alot of the walkways are boarded up with construction going on behind. Alot of the shows are not operating (Indiana Jones, Lion King, etc.) Not a big deal to us, but might be important to some. I'm not sure why they don't still do fastpasses. I think that would smooth the crush on some of the most popular rides and I don't see how it is harmful to the social distancing goals. Have they said why no fastpasses? FOOD ISSUES: The mobile dining ordering places are actually pretty easy, you just need to make sure to think a little in advance if it is a popular spot (Woody's lunchbox) or when you're hungry for lunch at noon it can be disappointing to find out their next pick up time is 3:15. There are still plenty of walk up food places and even most of the mobile order places are readily available throughout the day. Reservation places were more hard to come by for us but part of that is we didn't decide we were going until about 5 days before our first day in the park and then we didn't bother looking for reservations anywhere because we thought that with 35% capacity that the restaurants should be open. We were wrong. TRANSPORTATION: It had been 3 or 4 years since the last time we were there and since then they have built the Disney Skyliner system. It connected our resort (Riviera) shown in the background of photo below directly to Epcot and with one transfer at the Caribbean Beach Resort station to Hollywood Studios. Pretty slick and beats the heck out of the busses. I hope they will expand that system throughout the WDW universe. Really fun trip and just by dumb luck our trip coincided with all the brouhaha at the Capitol Building and its aftermath so I was successful in ignoring that mess as much as humanly possible.
