I do. It's become clear that there's two growing segments in America: (1) ignorant assholes who know nothing about the Constitution and think it's perfectly fine for Trump to run for a third term, and (2) assholes who know goddamn well that the Constitution prevents Trump from running for a third term and just want to see our democratic institutions burn to the ground.
These folks are no longer living in the margins.
I should be there with the wife, and possibly two friends attending the game with us. So aside from my season pass, I may be buying anywhere from 1 to 3 tickets if that helps the cause.
The Republicans and this Trump Administration in 2025 have plunged our country into a significantly deeper deficit. What's a few billion more in extending the ACA subsidies? They could execute a perfect killshot to the Democratic hopes in the 2026 midterms by saying, "Sure, okay, we'll extend the ACA subsidies if you reopen the government and let us pay the military and other federal workers." The voters in the red states who've grown to rely on this particular government assistance would go bonkers.
Is that a too simplistic view?
Maybe we'll hear more stories like this. But keep in mind that Bobby Petrino is currently employed. Being a complete asshole does not disqualify you from getting a college head coaching job.
I went to Threadgills maybe a handful of times in my life, and this is about what I remember. Oh, and my daughter played a guitar recital at the Riverside location back in 2017.
Probably my favorite, but so gut-wrenching. We see Baltimore youth throughout the series, but a whole season dedicated to such a rough going in the shitty public school system was tough to watch. I did enjoy Prez's redemption story, though.
