  1. Pence is indeed an obsequious bootlicker, but really he is a bootlicker for rules and not people. This was probably going to be the best part of his vice-presidency, he got to be part of the formal process of one administration to another, the heartbeat of government... That is actually the kind of thing, later in life, it is probably cool to remember being a part of. Better if you are a winner of course. He had his family there, then the morons with zipties and guns and tasers showed up. Trump burned all his bridges with Pence on this.
  2. Well, Flynn is a Russian agent, so it actually is likely that he is their conduit for their disinformation to try and manipulate things. Like the Jade Helm stuff. I actually believe that part about Q, there really is Flynn back there, spewing whatever Putin wants. And I do not think the 25th amendment is relevant here, actually. I just went and read it, and the only relevant section is the last, if it is determined that the President is 'unable' to perform the duties. But Trump is not 'unable'. He IS 'unfit', but not 'unable'. The constitution does have a well defined way of dealing with unfit presidents, that is impeachment. Mitch out front should have told ya about that.
  3. I think she said that you win that bet, but I'm not sure about the precise distance. Somebody connected to this shit was close.
  4. Yes, taking the physical certificates would not have actually stopped anything. But it would surely delay things, so it would be directly interfering in the operations of the government, so it still sounds like sedition to me.
  5. Pence is not pardoning anybody, not after what happened yesterday. There were plenty of people in that mob that are on social media record of saying he should hang. Meanwhile, Pence, and I think his family, were in the capitol for the vote ceremony. For the most part I have very very little respect for Pence, but even he is not a pushover enough to pardon Trump for putting his family into mortal danger.
  6. <csb>I remember around those years, when I was at UT, there was usually some door open into the capitol building in the middle of the night. The main doors would get locked at night, but some side door would be unlocked, so you could get in. There were no signs that the building was closed, so I figured as a public building I had some right to be there, so I could wander the fancy capitol halls at 2 am high on whatever had me up at 2 am.</csb>
  7. Who else besides Cruz signed on to these objections after all this crap today?
  8. I don't know about all, but I don't know how else to explain what happened. That part surprised me. I expected a bunch of dumbasses to march around and scream and act like assholes. I did not expect the palace guards to just let em come in and do what they wanted. Shocked, as in actually shocked, really.
  9. Maybe he will get stuck in 2020 forever, like Groundhog Year.
  10. I am 100% sure they would have liked to, but with all the recounts and scrutiny, I do not see how some evidence would not come up. And absolutely nothing has come up.
  11. Yeah, iirc, the Texas force pretty much immediately was captured when they encountered any Mexican forces, and they all got to enjoy a forced march from Santa Fe to Mexico City. Which does not sound entirely like a good time to me.
  12. It is the responsibility of the Senate to convict upon impeachment. It is the responsibility of the people to select Senators who are not treasonous. The people have failed.
  13. And renaming the military bases that are still named for Confederates. (That is the main reason DJT will try to veto this.)
  14. 'Air Force One' is really whatever aircraft the President is on. So if DJT is flying on AF1 at noon (or whenever the oath is given), then at that moment, it is no longer AF1, and is just a very expensive specialized 747. We probably do have two, but don't forget, that we will need to find and remove all the bugs that the Russians have stuck inside it.
  15. Until Biden's swearing in, there is nothing to keep DJT from being in the air in AF1. There is also nothing that would stop President Biden, in the next second after taking the oath, from ordering AF1 to immediately land and disgorge its refuse.
  16. Don't football the futbol forum damnit...
  17. Yup. Same sculptor who made the alligator sculpture in El Paso. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Jiménez_(sculptor)
  18. What about Seattle hockey fans?? Ever think about them??
  19. It ought to be with some discretion. I can see most ex-Presidents being allowed to see some sensitive information. With the same discretion, Trump ought to see some drawings in orange crayon, which he would completely believe to be real. It is not like he has been reading any briefs so far.
  20. Yeah, it has nothing to do with Q or the election. Except that the new Seattle team, if they want to line their pockets, are selling these to morons as fast as they can.
  21. It is obvious that Trump expected his judicial appointees to 'do him a favor' in return for appointing them, just like a mob boss would. I have been very happy to see that things do not actually work this way!
  22. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/25/diego-maradona-dies-one-of-greatest-footballers-of-all-time-argentina-world-cup-1986 Reported by The Guardian now.
  23. I did not have any professors of physics or astronomy that said that nuclear weapons did not exist, the moon landings were faked, or that the moon really glows red hot at 700 C. But then I did go to UT.
