  1. Great tribute. My condolences on your loss. Clearly a great man and a great Longhorn.
  2. I don't have any answers, but shit is bad right now. Lot's of bad decisions being made at the highest levels. I'll just say that some people are going to get their wish and find out the hard way that you get what you pay for.
  3. That's an easy one. Shot a smooth 111 at Lost Pines in Bastrop State Park before it burnt down. I lost count after I hit my 10th tree. I hit random limbs, pine saplings 2 inches in diameter, and plenty of others. After a while it just got kind of funny. Good thing I was drinking.

    Best Round of Golf

Best score was a 78 at Bluebonnet Hill. Only hit 3 fairways but hit 14 greens. Irons were dialed in. Hit some crazy recovery shots from some crazy places. Most notably on #6 (I think as I haven't played out there in years) that runs along the back of the property. Yanked my drive into the waste area on the left. My ass was touching the barbed wire fence making the property line and I hit a low cut 5 iron from a sandy lie that somehow tracked in to about 12 feet pin high. That was emblematic of that round. I did go -1 on the par 3s though. If I could putt it probably would have been a 74. Best round was probably an 80 at Morris Williams from the "tips" about 20 years ago. That course is a bitch for my game.
  5. Shit, in that case I'd love to see another season. That time period is fascinating to me.
  6. Delicious Peters is criminally underseeded at a 9.
  7. I loved it. I think it's a stand alone. I don't think they're doing any more seasons. It's based on a novel and I don' t believe there are any squeals.

    Bidet Meta Threas

I'm not sure how I lived without one for 45 years.
  9. My wife had a crew working at the Dell Match Play this weekend. She had to go out Saturday morning to deliver breakfast and snacks for the day. They park in a lot by the 14th green. She does all her shit and gets back to the van. No keys. She has no idea if she left them in the van or dropped them somewhere on the course. Can't risk AAA breaking in because the alarm will go off and she's not sure the keys are in there to turn it off. No spare. Lost it a long time ago. So she has to wait for the golfers to finish 14...4 hours later. Keys in purse. In van. This is at least the 5th time she's had to get rescued by AAA in the last 2 years.
  10. Somebody saw a cockroach on 12.
  11. Last year the stress of anticipation was palpable. This year I can just enjoy the ride.
  12. It's no Shaggy, but it'll have to do.
