  1. A loud clanking sound just woke me up and the ac is blowing warm air. Just turned it off. I'm sure it's nothing.
  2. Come over to the other side with me gsoda. The water is warm.
  3. I don't know. 3 out of the 4 of those say cooler and wetter. Yet here we are.
  4. The united states is 1.867% of the earth's total surface area. We are very lucky these alien craft crashed in the most technologically advanced nation and not anywhere else.
  5. I subscribe to the theory of Occam's razor. It's our tech. And has been for decades. Why is it Americans have the most ufo sightings.
  6. She is getting charged now as well. Good. My assumption was she was using this as a way to make money. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2023/07/28/carlee-russell-charges/70468670007/
  7. I don't. The plan is to nationalize our son first and then she said it's much easier for me to get mine. I would assume if we can't get the permanent one done in time we will get the temporary one and go from there.
  8. Permanent i believe. Wife is from Mexico. She is handling it so I don't have much more in terms of specifics.
  9. Still on track to move just outside mexico city next year for a couple years. June 2024 is our target. Have been here on vacation all this week. High today was 67. Rain from the mountains every afternoon and evening. What I didn't know was mexico city is about 7500 ft above sea level. I knew it was high but not that high. These higher elevations are where people are going to start heading. We are discussing selling our flower mound home after a couple years here and buying our next home in Denver or somewhere in Colorado. Lower elevations for both record heat and mother natures list of fuck you's (hurricanes tornados floods etc) can eat a bag o dicks.
  10. I'm adding Royal Blue to my list and i haven't even eaten there. This thread is gonna save me a lot of time and money.
  11. Every counter service place that prompts me for a tip, I put on the list and never return. In the past year we have saved thousands by eating more at home. Not to mention the health benefits. It's the rage that drives me and it feels good.
  12. You are selling the teddy bear, not the memories. If my grand dad left me a Babe Ruth rookie card on his death bed and said please always keep this in the family, I'd smile and nod and then turn around and put it up at the next auction.
  13. 85 degrees this morning in flowermound walking my dog at 6am. Heat index of 91.
  14. Mexico city or Colorado in the next year or 2. Even my wife is on board. Amarillo may be the only inhabitable city over 100k in Texas now. God bless the Caprock. Dallas area can go fuck itself.
  15. As a former director for a giant corporation I can not fucking stand HR. They literally made my life exponentially worse anytime I had to deal with them for one of my employees. There is no common sense. Only insanity. I try to not continue derails but HR and the music sub-forum here where everyone thinks they are so cool with their complicated shoes while shitting on perfectly good bands gets my blood boiling. CR, not so much. Anyway...what were we all talking about?
  16. What I want to know is how in the fuck has the Dallas area been hotter than Austin, San Antonio and Houston all fucking summer. Does latitude not mean shit anymore?
  17. 1984 had quite a few iconic movies.
  18. Beautiful summer day in the Dallas area today. I'm thinking this could be it until early September
  19. You've got 20 0f em right here. Why pay for one.
  20. Just a friendly reminder that 95 degrees at 100% humidity and 109 degrees at 50% humidity is considered unlivable for a human being. This being where they are no longer able to regulate their body temperature. Maybe we have a shot on Wednesday. The conditions that can lead to a wet-bulb temperature of 95 °F vary greatly. With no wind and sunny skies, an area with 50% humidity will hit an unlivable wet-bulb temperature at around 109 °F, while in mostly dry air, temperatures would have to top 130 °F to reach that limit. https://www.livescience.com/hottest-temperature-people-can-tolerate.html
  21. A significant amount of people dont like when the playing field starts to even out.
  22. We'll take the left half. China will take the right.
  23. Have you been to Catholic mass? We will see you back on page 1370.
