  1. Had Kyle put Joe in the fire I think that would have been the best bet to keep kamilla out. I would not trust Eva to not have a meltdown. She said they did not show the full extent of her breakdown in practice. I expected kamilla to beat Eva at fire.
  2. The old style Hollywood buffet! ready for season 2. Will rewatch s1 as I’m sure I missed much
  3. Actually that is incorrect. As Degrasse-Tyson demonstrates, the physics of the play provide an overwhelming advantage to the RB from the actual push. The defense cannot do the same with countervaling action. the new rule proposal did not outlaw the specific play but returned to the old rule that the ball carrier cannot be pushed, pulled, lifted, encircled, or thrown by another player regardless of the actual play. That was the rule for decades.
  4. The League wants a ban and it will happen at the next rules meeting in 26. Last vote was 16-16, now 22-10. Just 2 teams need to flip. the proposal was not to ban the specific play, but banning assisting the ball carrier, reverting to the old rule that dated back to ban of the flying wedge, that I grew up with. Basically making it a penalty to push, pull, encircle, or throw RBs. It being legal why wouldn’t you sign a discus thrower and a dwarf RB and throw him down the field? The safety issue is more downfield. We’ve seen WRs stood up and then a TE slam into them at speed to advance them the offense has a decided advantage on the tush push, as the defense cannot counter with the same force. Degrasse-Tyson explained in a Peyton manning short and showed how under current rules it’s practically unstoppable. It’s a rugby play and should die with reimplementation of the old rule.
  5. I guess they’ve never been to Antlers, OK.
  6. Any of the three were deserving of the win. Kamilla failing at fire was the die, had she gone in she was right that votes would split with Kyle. Joe and Eva split theirs.
  7. Agree but if this show is having multiple seasons Eddie ain’t going anywhere. I don’t want to be 77 years old waiting for Harry to kill him.
  8. I assumed the guy he visited at the radio station assigned another critic on staff to go visit it after eating the takeout Vince brought him.
  9. He’s Irish not Scottish. I think the show would be better with gratutitous nudity and fucking. Jan, Bella, and Alice all have at least a little in their CV. Helen Mirren can lead the way.
  10. So is Eddie actually Conrad’s son? The “other brother”?
  11. That Whataburger is a good one. As is the one in Shawnee. It’s like Chicago didn’t know about stores in Oklahoma.
  12. That would also result in your Roku shouting Whoop! everytime you used the remote.
  13. Love the show but Rogan is so manic it’s exhausting. Golden Globes was classic and CinemaCon pt 2 promises greatness.
  14. The Studio is a show that is not bingeable, but it’s a very funny show. Each episode is so full of manic shit it’s just exhausting. The last couple, Golden Globes and CinemaCon, are just crazy in Seth Rogan’s manias and their contagion. Very funny but they wear you out.
  15. Agreed. After the last ep it’s pretty clear Coop would have been better off just telling his wife the moneytrain was off the tracks and to fuck off, telling his shitty kids they’re headed to public school next year, selling the Maserati, and heading down the road. I think it’s about to spin into a total disappointing shitshow. I don’t give a shit about his nutjob sister and her obsessive relationship. Or family conflicts with his chica partner. Or his ex wife’s rich nba boyfriend’s entrepreneurial efforts. Or Barney’s home reno issues or in-law problems. it would be improved with more nekkid women.
  16. We watched both last night and some of the scenes are very lol. It’s so clever and funny. Putting Murderbot with a group of cheapskate hippie fuckhappy explorers is brilliant.
  17. All of our TVs are Roku. It has several advantages we like and features get better. Any of my sets without Roku have a Roku stick.
  18. Pearls is still good for a cold beer on a hot day as it’s dark in there and the ac is cold. The crowd is mostly geriatric.
  19. Lake Murray, Turner Falls, and the springs in Sulphur. I usually stop there to fill up on the way to the kids in Shawnee. The Braum’s is good and has clean restrooms. Swadley’s bbq sucks. Two Frogs is good.
  20. Joe Don Baker, 89, died May 7. Buford Pusser in Walking Tall (a totally fabricated story of cleaning up McNairy County but really a war with the previous sheriff and Dixie Mafia for control of the vice along the state line) lots of great supporting roles in his career. born in Groesbeck. How my grandmother never mentioned this thru her 101 years I find amazing. She knew everything about every famous or celeb from limestone county, and could tell you how many time Anna Nicole smith brought her chicken in Mexia. All about Bob Wills and her brother played fiddle for Wills and the Lightcrust Doughboys. Cynthia Ann Parker was a distant relative. If you just came thru it counted. She saw Bonnie and Clyde speeding thru downtown Mexia with both police cars chasing them.
  21. My three favs were naturals: Beverly Lynne, Susan Featherly, and Brandin Rackley.
  22. It was another example of the collective stupidity of corporate America. I’ve seen so much of it in my life. The same brain disease enabled the Edsel, killed Aunt Jemima, and fast tracked Ishtar. if they used Home Box Office, which was a perfect brand for their service when it launched, I wonder how many know what a box office is these days.
  23. Why my phone converted Cardellini to Bartalini I don’t know. Talia Shire is excellent as the mousey ex nun nonna (I’ve had a thing for her since she was Connie Corleone) and Brenda Vaccaro is funny as well. (She was pretty hot back when Michael Douglas was banging her.) they made some story license for the movie. The story of overcoming grief thru family and food was focused on his mother but in real life he lost his nonna, his grandfather, his mother, and his sister in the 18 months prior to buying the place. And Linda cardellini was a writer creation.
  24. https://englishbreakfastsociety.com/back-bacon.html actually they use a cut that is part belly, part loin. They cure it but I don’t think they smoke it. It’s not very good to me, like boiled Canadian and American bacon. I prefer bangers
  25. My mother did the same with leftover meat. She had a grinder for her mixer and would make the pot roast beef salad, or pork roast salad, and if there was a leftover steak or two she’d grind them up for a ground steak salad which was the tits. Dad was an excellent grill man on the Weber and generous. If they had folks over he’d cook a couple extra steaks in case others came. Thank you for reminding me of this dish; I got to make it too now.
