  1. that GIF was an edit to my initial response, the previous response being more CR than DT - and me being cognizant of black lab’s shit-posting hammer
  2. The slave name Bertha gave him that he hated - or the secret one I gave him that he liked and answered to? You, me, and your wife can discuss that in Europe - on me - once I get my royalty check.
  3. That was me. Plastic surgery and a name change. Just vouch for me and I’ll make it worth your while.
  4. autonomous Robotaxi w/safety monitors?
  5. I like your optimism brisket. The only way Trump cares about what Cletus does is if he needs his vote. This would indicate there might be future elections. Because if Trump does not need Cletus to stay in power, Trump will treat him like he treats everybody else he no longer needs, and will recommend he pulls himself up by his boot straps, picking vegetables in the black belt. That said, you might be onto something. I think Thomas will write the SCOTUS opinion saying that the Founders wanted us to have a 100,000 man ICE army controlled solely by the executive branch.
  6. Man, the thoughts and prayers meter must be pegged!
  7. To be fair, Cletus might not have any other choice.
  8. iPhone voice recognition software sucks. Maybe he was water boarded by the Lake Travis football booster club?
  9. But there might be a riot in the chips and snacks aisle.
  10. I totally agree. I was just taking that number from another source and rolling with it. But even if 1/10 that, the problem still remains. Putin has a problem. One, he doesn’t have enough troops to go after a large amount of heavily armed deserters. He needs them for his meat grinding. Two, I’m sure Putin does not want his country to know - or other soldiers or potential conscripts to know - that one can simply say “fuck it” and walk away from the front line with your weapon. Three, that the only thing keeping the deserters from arrest or death or being sent back to the frontline is the fact that they are heavily armed - with the best kit they could select/steal after their platoon mates were killed. This means that for their continued survival, they must make raids on the MOD ammunition logistics system to replenish ammo. I refuse to believe it impossible that at least some of them are doing this.
  11. Maybe it’s just me, but the possibility of needing a windshield repair is really one of those not rare unicorn events that Tesla should have expected to occur with a significant number of vehicles. Perhaps that is a subject that should’ve been mentioned prior to these people buying their cyber truck. If only there were attorneys who specialize in suing manufacturers on behalf of very large numbers of people who complain about the same thing.
  12. it also means that any Russian military patrols have to be on the lookout for bands of armed deserters who might light them up in an ambush if they venture into the wrong areas. in World War II, American deserters often wound up working for organized crime in the black market, using their weapons to hijack red ball express trucks for arms and ammunition medicine, etc. The people back home in World War II never heard about this, because it was not a good look. I can only assume that they are doing this exact same thing in Russian controlled Ukrainian territories. i’m pretty sure that brand new Russian soldiers sent to the meat grinder have very little desire to get in fire fights with experienced combat troops who have deserted with their weapons.
  13. New Orleans Top Taco festival is not going to happen in October. Not a bad thing to cancel, because it would’ve been an ICE magnet in any event. I am just sharing because here is yet another comment from someone in a different industry saying that the economy is taking a shit.
  14. 50K armed deserters. wowza That is like Newt Knight and his crew on steroids and vodka. 50k is equal to the number of all US military deserts during World War II in Europe. But we had almost 2,000,000 servicemen in Europe at the time, and the geographic reach of where all the troops were stationed is vastly greater than the small amount of territory in an occupied Ukrainian area.
  15. So…. It just means more?
  16. JOBY hit $20 this morning. Paper hands me had grabbed a 70% profit back when it jumped- and did not hang in long enough to enjoy what may be a sweeter ride ahead. I kept 300 shares just so every time I check my Fidelity account it reminds me that I have no idea what I’m doing.
  17. As Trump has not selected her for any position in his cabinet or agencies or embassies, despite him hiring a bus load of idiots and incompetents, she probably realizes she’s not attractive enough to be a female appointee in his administration. But she is still a skilled grifter, with a complete absence of morality, so her going after potential Elmo money seems like a rational and potentially very profitable strategy.
  18. This is the correct answer. Let them lose everything. Let every female in their family have an ectopic pregnancy and have to travel 300 miles to the only hospital remotely near them in Montana, only to learn medicaid doesn’t pay for ambulances and that the delay and GOP passed laws results in the ER doctor telling him, “We can’t save them if it means taking the baby.” You voted for others to have this experience. Lay back and enjoy it maggot. Maybe those Canadian investors right at your border will think kindly on America - and invest in something that will change your unemployed status. Or not.
