  1. The more I look into Kansas, the more I think we are overrating who they are this year. Last year, they definitely showed signs of explosiveness on offense. This year, against very pedestrian competition, not so much. Maybe they've been saving everything for this game. Almost lost to a winless Nevada team and looked average against BYU yesterday. I worry about us taking them lightly because we trounced them last year, but they're undefeated so hopefully we respect them and come ready to play.
  2. It's @TCU for me. I think we can and will run it down KU's throats. I think this game is a good test for our defense though. Daniels is better than last year, but so is our defense.
  3. Yea, they can't ground and pound without a better designed offense. Their OL is huge, but uncoordinated and lack the freaks they usually have.
  4. Both coordinators are massive downgrades from last year. The QB is a massive downgrade who shits down his leg regularly. He lacks the poise of Hurts, Adrian Martinez, DTR, and other really good dual threat QBs. The team looks poorly coached all around though. Pretty hard to watch. Definitely makes our win lose a lot of its luster.
  5. Hudson Card is a redshirt junior. Same class
  6. This game, TCU, and Tech will test our secondary the most. If our O shows up for the OU game, it isn't close. If they don't, then it's an interesting one. OU's defense can be had. They just haven't played anyone who can take advantage of it. Let's just hope Kevin Mar's crew isn't in Dallas that day.
  7. How is Max Johnson only a Rs-Soph? He's from the same class as Bijan. This is his 4th year in college. 2 at LSU, one at A&M.
  8. Texas University? Really Cocaine Mack?
  9. Not to mention the 3-4 yards they gave Wyoming for free in the redzone. On 1st and goal at the 8, their Qb ran out of bounds at the 12ish yard line to escape a sack. He didn’t even attempt to throw it away. The next play was 2nd and goal at the 8 yard line. Kevin Mar everybody.
  10. Idk man, X was pretty accurate on that throw. If Bama doesn't hold Mitchell that's at the very least a huge gain, probably TD. That was against Wyoming. He ran for no gain. We converted with the wildcat on 4th and 1 though
  11. We got stuffed in the TCU game due to penetration and gaps being shot. They sold out to stop the run and we couldn’t stop it. By lining up in a heavier set and running the ball, they are conceding chunks of yardage with the 3-5-3 look
  12. They don’t have enough to give our defense true issues. I also believe Wyoming has a better OL than them. Wyoming is also better coached. If we turn the ball over or give up big plays on special teams, then this can get close. If we play a similar game to how we did on offense last week, we will get another unimpressive win. Sawyer is gonna throw a bunch of picks as long as we make them throw the ball. Pound the ball, play clean, score TDs, play defense, and they’ll be forced to adjust on both sides of the ball. We can start throwing more once they do.
  13. The “perfect rating” is not even relative to all of the other QBs who have ever come out of HS. It is only relative to how they were perceived compared to all of the other prospects in their respective recruiting class. People take data and make it mean whatever suits their narrative though. News at 6.
  14. Put his name in the draft to do what? He needs to get and stay healthy and show what made him special next year to have a chance to get drafted. If he is impatient, he can leave, then we’ll bring in whatever high quality WR transfer we can land. Lots of opportunity to sell. He has a major opportunity here if he sticks around next year.
  15. I’m surprised no one’s gotten it right yet. Think about it. Since Colt, the best QBs we’ve had are: 1. Dylan 2. Dylan 3. Dylan 4. Dylan 5. Dylan It’s not even close
  16. Some rando Wyoming receiver caught a ball while Kitan Crawford was directly in front of him barely missing the PBU. Our receivers need to step up too.
  17. I hear he eats 5 dozen eggs for breakfast. It's easy to see why, at 6'8 330, he's roughly the size of a barge.
  18. Robertson threw his first TD of the season last week against Long Island…in the 4th quarter. He has thrown three picks in two games and has thrown even more balls that should have been picks. We could just run it down their throats with Brooks and Red and force them to adjust before we really start throwing.
  19. He’s pretty bad, so naturally he’s gonna put it all together against us. Good thing we offered him though.
  20. 13th in the big 12? Baylor is not good against the run this year at all.
  21. Quinn had at least 4 bad throws. But the offense wasn’t on the field for very long and they were slow getting going.
  22. Top ranked tackle coming out of HS last year. He needs to lose some bad weight and refine his technique before playing out there.
  23. They would be foolish to get their Sam Ehlinger hurt in this game they don't have much of a chance of winning. Build some depth, collect your check for the school, don't mess up your chances at the Mountain West title/decent bowl game.
  24. They don't have the OL to compete without an honest passing game. Buchner doesn't seem to offer much of any improvement over Millroe in that regard though.
  25. Good job Kleiman
