If vegas wins it all they should hold a parade for the guys who put down 100 on their 500-1 odds.

I read early in the playoffs where the head of sports betting for one of the big casinos was saying that Vegas winning is the biggest potential payout they’ve ever had for a sports championship.

Doc is the best there is. I say this every single year -I love everything about the Stanley Cup playoffs but I especially love Doc’s call.

Can’t think of another broadcaster that is this good at calling his sport.

He is a pleasure to listen to.  The only comparison I have is Vin Scully.

When you watch an NHL playoff game and maybe switch over to an NBA playoff game during the intermission is is like watching paint dry.

No comparison at all.

By the way that ice in Vegas is terrible. I know it was 99 degrees outside but it gets hot in plenty of NHL cities this time of year and they do not seem to have these kinds of issues. After about five minutes that ice was slow and sloppy.

For real. This was a few years ago but you just don’t get this kind of thing in any other sport. I love the Stanley Cup playoffs - perhaps even more when my team isn’t in it.
