You can only sign one. Springer 4/100 or Correa 8/240. Which do you choose?

Correa and it’s not close. You are asking do you want to pay prime years for a HOF shortstop or decline years for a really good OF. I love springer. Want to keep him. Think he’s the heartbeat of the team yada yada yada.
correa only injury risk.

Correa played in 109, 110 and 75 games during his age 22, 23 and 24 seasons. So he has participated in 294/486 regular season games (60%).

He has HOF talent, to be sure, but I'd be hesitant to go all-in/long-term on a guy that missed 2 out of every 5 games (over a 3-year stretch) in his early 20s.

Either way, both guys have always seemed intent on getting to free agency rather than signing an extension. All that is subject to change, of course.

But who knows what the market will be - Correa will be a FA at the same time as Lindor and Seager and Story, I think (?). So the SS market may be a little saturated, and Lindor figures to be the prize (Seager has had trouble staying healthy too). Maybe That makes CC a little more affordable. Difficult to gauge what MLB spending (or anything else in the world) will look like in the winter of 2021.
