Would you throw in the AZ kid as a 6th take?

This would be a ridiculous OL class. Foster is the only one I am not confident with.

I'm rolling with Foster/Connor until the resident Katy Taylor insider says otherwise

I didn't love Connor's sophomore hudl, he looks a little heavy and clumsy, but I've heard that he's put a ton of work in this spring to get in better shape and be better technically

T. Brockermeyer and Byrd = Tackles

Foster and Conner = Guards

J. Brockermeyer = Center

That's a Championship level haul to go with what has already been brought in.

I'd call Conner a swing guy, but sure

The in-state crop for DL is just about as good as OL.  Landon Jackson, Marcus Burris, Ja'Tavion Sanders, Tunmise Adeleye, Jordon Thomas, and I'll add Kendrick Blackshire.  We need to land at least 3 of those 6 next class.

Blackshire and Jackson seem Texas leans, Adeleye seems like a recruitment nightmare already

I think Thomas and Sanders would be the top 2 Texas leans atm with Jackson at 3.

Agree with Adeleye, that's going to be a roller coaster recruitment.

Yup. Discovering Thomas way early should hopefully pay dividends down the line.

I wouldn't consider Blackshire a Texas lean. Maybe an "in the top group" with LSU and Bama. Maybe.

I think Landon goes aggy, and Fatheree goes OU or aggy.

Really hope I am wrong on Landon. At first I thought he'd end up here but just a gut feeling he goes aggy. Fuck you gut...

He's a Texas lean, imo

I think we're top two for Fatheree with OU

In a vacuum, I'd pick Texas, but I think we have an easier avenue towards landing other tackles, which hurts our chances with Fatheree. Although watch out for Georgia with Byrd.

Really? I know he's an aggy legacy, but he's had as burnt orange a recruitment as you could hope for so far. Unless he gets peeved his buddy Burris hasn't gotten a UT offer.

TBH. I am probably basing a lot of that on the aggy legacy angle. I try to just follow one class at a time (and even my following recruiting joy has diminished big time) tbh. So, like I said just a gut feeling. Hope I am wrong for sure. I like that I've had two responses that are counter to what I am guessing.

Landon is 2021 he can't OV

Yeah. I wasn't being serious. It was a joke about their "secret official visitor" this past weekend and aggy being dumb enough to use it on a '21 kid. But is that true? Is there a rule prohibiting juniors from taking official visits? I can't think of a reason to schedule an OV with a junior (or in this instance sophomore going into his junior year). But is it expressly prohibited?

They moved up OV for to be seniors to the spring before their senior year.

The earliest a player can OV is Spring of junior year

He's from Oklahoma...

They miss on top in-state kids from time to time

Not sure if every single one of these were takes for them, but here are the top five prospects each year in Oklahoma since 2015 that they've landed

2015: 2, 4

2016: 5

2017: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

2018: 1, 3, 4,

2019: 3
