Same on android.  Just guessing, but I think they want you to press the preview link.

I'm willing to believe it's simply lousy, stupid design. There's other UI elements I think suck.

Six goals in 2 road games.  I really like BV and how he plays but perhaps rest of team struggles with a 9 like that.  They seem to have unlocked something.

Yeah playing LA Galaxy and DC United will do that, but I'm not complaining.

Really important 5 games coming up vs Houston, vs Dallas, @ Montreal, @ Kansas City, @ Dallas

All of those games are winnable with a point expectation in pretty much all of them. Playoffs are within sight if they continue the roll.

The nice thing about it is that out of the remaining 12 matches, only Seattle and LAFC are ahead of us in the table and both of those games are at Q2.  We are sitting at 7th right now with at least a game in hand against everyone buy LAFC.

Struggled to finish a lesser opponent off again.  In total control until the (bullshit) VAR PK call, then we were on the back foot for the rest of the game. Houston had 2-3 more great chances as well.

I don't think we did much after Rubio and Sanchez were subbed out.

Bukari was absolute magic on the second goal and should have finished one himself in the second half. Biro had a hell of a game as well.

I went to the game Saturday through the chairity of @Brisketexan, and I was amazed by how bad the game presentation is.  They don't run any video throughout the game of the play.  For probably a quarter of the game, the videoboard is just showing a big sign that "Austin FC provides closed captioning . . . ."  Great.  But nobody is saying anything during play.  So what does anybody care of there is closed captioning?

The replays weren't any better.  There were only a couple replays of each goal (and of the second goal, the replay came only after the ball had been back in play for about five minutes).  No replays of any fouls.  So I really couldn't tell you whether the PK call was bullshit.

If I had any interest in what was actually happening on the pitch, I'd have been vastly better off at home.

Fortunately, I had minimal interest--I was there to hang out with Brisket and my son.  And so from that perspective, it was a successful evening.

That is a change from the usual approach - they usually do show the run of play (which is handy for us, as our seats are at one end of the stadium, so if we want a good depth-perception view of what's happening at the other end, we can check the screen).  There was MUCH discussion on the Reddit thread about the game about this change.  Lots of bitching, don't know if there was something wrong, or if this is the way they're going to do it from now on.  If it's the second, that's a shitty choice.

And on the PK....shit, they weren't going to find the footage of that "foul" anyway.  It was some light contact that had happened FOUR MINUTES before they stopped play and decided to check.  And then the ref spent EIGHT MINUTES looking to figure out if the foul was "clear and obvious."  Dude.  If it take you 8 mins to figure it out, it ain't clear and obvious.  Really poorly officiated match.  I went home and went through the live broadcast replay, and even on the live broadcast, it took them several minutes to figure out what was going on.

Damn Teen Wolff. That was impressive ball handling... Shame nothing came of it.

... Except handbags!

And an against run of play goal.

That double tap on the sideline was cool though.

Not giving up a PK, getting good Bukari, two really bad defensive plays by SJ, no goals for Chicho or Martinez, jumping to 7th by gaining 3 points on SJ... best result in a while.

We did poorly on that set piece, but that's about the only complaint I have, Bouda was really a giant pain in the ass for Dessler, so I'll give him credit for creating that chance.

Dubersarsky looked better than I expected, I hadn't been too excited about him in recent performances.  May have a lot to do with who SJ is missing.

We have two very winnable road games against teams that are not hard to beat on their home turf.  Get 6 or 4 and rest a couple of guys in the open cup semi. Then you are probably looking at needing two more wins in the last 5 to be comfortable.

Man I would prefer going all out to make a cup final than worry about sneaking into a playoffs they probably don't have a chance at winning.

Interested to see the team that starts on Sunday verses Sporting KC.  Svatok, Uzuni, Periera, and Cascante all called to national teams.  Ilie was went out last week with a back injury and was on the injured list this last game.  Additionally, Sabovic was pulled quickly on Saturday with a knee issue.  With luck, Ilie and Sabovic will be well enough to take some minutes.  I suspect Mateja Djordjević will see the pitch for the first time.

Another weak foul on the box to give up a PK.  Do other teams practice not doing dumb shit in the box like tapping the back of an attacker's trailing foot?  This league loves PKs and VAR will award dives if there is any contact with the foot/leg area.

We must average a pen every other game, it's fucking atrocious.

Wolff with a beautiful goal after bringing down a long ball from Biro. Fucking hilarious how people didn't want him in the field even a year ago. Now he's our most consistent player, possibly best player overall.

I haven't regularly watched this team for awhile but I remember when he was getting his first apps. The quality has always been there. The development isn't always linear for young players.

I think the last time we gave up the first goal on the road and came back and won was July 2022 against Colorado.

That was a great win with so many players out, players in odd positions, etc.

I hope we keep Owen at least one more season.
