Haven’t been this excited to pick up the Dallas Morning News in a long time. Add it to the collection. The last titles my teams have won.

Man, how I wish my dad could have been here to see this. Biggest Rangers fan ever. I was on the phone with him in 2011 when we needed one more strike. I’ve never heard such a crushed, disappointed rea

Inauspicious start to say the least. Needed 37 pitches to get out of the first.

He's assimilating quickly into the classic role of a Rangers pitcher.

lol 6 hits.  an infield hit and the rest soft bloops or seeing eye grounders.

2 outs and #9 coming up you gotta go.

It would have been close with a good throw, which means the Rangers likely would have suffered another shitty call at home. So I'm not going to question it too hard. Leody should have made it a non-issue.

I haven't sports bet in awhile but we were like -300 today which seemed fucking absurd. Definitely would have thrown a dime on the Sox if I was a bettor.

(Not saying the game is over - we can bring this back)

Opened at -225 which is a very big # to begin with. Closed at -310 which is extremely rare for an MLB game. Extremely.

Yes, terrible coaching by Beasley. Gotta be more situationally aware. Guessing Bochy tell him as such.

We’ll take that outing after the goofy 1st.

Now let’s keep swinging.

Told y'all mfers to relax. New park/team jitters are common.

Quality start, that will get it done with this offense most days.

I'm gonna have to leave and miss the 9th. Might be a good thing for the Rangers, but I'm nervous.
