I didn’t realize each episode was going to be almost movie length.

This. I thought I had misunderstood it was a series and was a movie. Very well done. There's gonna be hell to pay for the car.

I knew it was three 2 hour eps but I guess I thought they all dropped yesterday. Peacock will automatically go to another program fast and we’re watching a car chase with a motorcycle. Wife is like wow they copied that John wick car chase. I hit pause and it said John Wick 2.

We enjoyed it. It will be interesting to see how the young characters become the folks they are in The John wick movies.

They are tied into Universal Music Publishing Group, so they probably aren't paying the full price for some stuff.

But yeah, it's crazy.

I tried to keep track tonight and had

Ace Frehley - New York Groove

Dinah Washington - What a difference a day made

The Who - Baby O'riley

Santana - Soul Sacrifice

Heat - Barracuda

3 Dog Night - One

Booker T - Hip Hug Her

Dr John - Right Place

and the Theme Song Hard Times - Baby Huey

And tonight actually seemed like it had less songs than the first 2 weeks. But I was pretty impressed with this show overall and enjoyed it quite immensely.

I was just curious and went and looked, and while four of those are Universal and would be cheaper (but royalties still get paid), the others are Sony or Warner Brothers, so to their credit, they spent some decent cash on the music (or made arrangements for some of their songs in productions from Sony and Warner). If they were going cheap, all of the music would have been Universal (which has an amazing catalog as it is).
