Wind blowing out of the south up to 25 MPH in Manhattan this evening

Not having a clue which way the field faces, is that good or bad for hitters?  Need more Tointon Family Field expertise.

Very good for hitters. Field faces north. Ball will be flying out.

Big chance for a RPI move if we win this series. RPI formula loves wins away from home (which we have only done twice this year). Looking at Warren Nolan a win tonight is worth 101 RPI points, which would bump us up almost 10-12 spots with a single victory (pending movement from other teams). So a series win would have us moving upwards 20-25 spots which is a huge jump.

I typically ignore RPI until around mid-April when a lot of the outliers have fallen back to the pack and teams have 4-5 conference series under their belt, but road series always create the possibility for a lot of movement.

Flores was the only person who even hit a ball so far -- for a homer-- 1st 2 outs were swinging strikeouts who never even fouled the ball.

The second pitch of the game was a foul ball down the LF line.

Didn't see it. Maybe distracted by the little girl reporter in the double-breasted pleather jacket. Lulz.

Pierce’s buyout should be net of what he cost LBJ in draft $

You know Lebarron is the one with the ball in his hands right. Young man is costing himself money, zero confidence in his pitches

He’s a reliever at the next level. Probably why he came back in the first place. Teams aren’t paying premium bonuses for reliever profiles.

Teams don’t chase his slider like they did last year so he struggles to put guys away.
