Where did you see this

Damn.  You got the 5th post in this thread.  5th (although, subjectively, George Martin is the fifth Beee-AHtl).

But Good on ya, Pete.  RIP

He still got to be a Beatle. More than Yoko can say.

I don't like it, but she sang on two songs on the White Album. She still sucks.  Thankfully, Billy Preston had more appearances.

I was going to say that Pete was one of the handful of “5th Beatle”s.

I think that Pete also sponsored a tribute band or two that would travel the world dressing in period costumes and bantering in Scouse/ Merseyside/ Liverpool accents.

I saw a band called “The Beats” in Buenos Aires in 2008 and they may have been “Pete Best’s ‘The Beats’!”

SIDE NOTE: I went with a couple of Argies and their dates. They only had 4 tickets, but felt that I could buy one at the show

It turned out that the show was sold out, but after inquiring about a single ticket at the window…

A uniformed federal police officer standing right next to the window pulled his bulletproof vest forward and pulled out a ticket and tried to sell it to me.

😂

My Argentine friends were ashamed about what that told me about their country. 🇦🇷

I thought that it was hilarious.

Great story. When was this?

As someone who generally avoids "the news" these days, I had higher hopes for Surly as a source.

I gather you didn't take a gander at who the OP was.
