I know it's shitty, but there is no way I would spend money on taking my family to see this team.

They show fan shots, and my first thought is that poor dad.

From Evan Grant:

Over their last 162 games, in which the Rangers 77-85, they are slashing .234/.299/.374/.673. Their slash ranking: 27/28/26/28. They are a bottom five offense for more than a year.

And without Seager they're probably dead last in all of those

That's a long enough trend to do more than demote a first baseman or change a lineup or two.

At some point you have to question Boch. We have a top 6 payroll in MLB.

The WS run was magic but we barely made the playoffs that season.

that whole run was a few of guys(minus Seager) having career streaks at the exact right time. Eovaldi was nails and the bullpen was out of their mind.

regression to the mean going on.  CY has a bunch of strikeout kings in the lineup.

I will forever cherish that World Championship because it is extremely unlikely to ever happen again.  50 years of watching the Rangers, at least I got one.

Meh. I'm not giving up on the franchise. Just think some changes may need to be made.

I like that we're spending money. We have a badass rotation. The rest is honestly the easiest part to fix.

Seager, Langford, and Jung is a pretty good core to start with. Unfortunately Semien is probably done and everyone else is dead weight.

I thought I was living in crazy town this offseason when they kept trying to tell us that Pederson and Burger were impact additions. Neither of those guys has ever been anything more than average. If the Rangers don’t go hard after an impact bat in the offseason, or preferably trade for one this season, they ain’t serious about shit.

How in the holy hell does a major leaguer - that's NOT a pitcher - have a .099 BA?
