Earl Thomas was best of the group. If he gets dinged for such a short career on the 40 then so be it, but that's the high-water mark for DB play at Texas

Don’t forget the last time Babers bowed out about DBU before a big game.  It didn’t end well:

Not only this one, but when he sent Leeland McElroy's soul to the underworld.

I haven't looked into it, and I was still in HS at the time, but I was convinced an Aggie threw the flag on that play. Weakest unsportsmanlike I can recall seeing live.

I was diagonally across from Westbrook vs Kinder in that ND game, sitting in the cheap seats, far NW corner upper deck.  It sounded like a gunshot.

It was one of those option plays where you just know the RB is going "oh fuck" as the pitch is being made.

I was young, too, but I vividly remember thinking it was such a weak ass call. Like, sorry your RB can't take a heat seeker to the chest.

Musberger wanted the official to be shot.

It’s not a horrible order and it’s a tough task. I’ve seen most of these players live many times over the years. The few things that pop out to me:

Westbrook is too low on the list. One of the best cover corners and hitters at Texas.

Deshon Elliott too high.

Raymond Claiborne too low.

Vaccaro too high.
