  1. Past hour
  2. Do you watch baseball? He is up literally up there with the elite on both hitting, base running and pitching. Nobody fucking does that. He was an elite prospect at hitting and pitching coming out of high school and nobody does that either, even when it is common for high school players to play both hit and pitch. You are just pleading to ignorance, you don't know or understand, so this isn't impressive.
  3. I think you should attempt to coach me in my posting behaviors more. It might really alter my behavior going forward, and apparently that might impact the entire board. Let’s see how it works out! To be clear, libel involves malice intent and then proof of falsehoods being spread. I know because I have successfully sued for Internet libel, twice. Also, the onus is on the claimant even more so if they are a public figure, which Sarkisian certainly is. In my case, I’ve never implied that the break missing junior day involved a bender. I’ve argued the break was a result of a problem, allegedly, that was mounting towards the end of the season. It could have been for anything, of course. What I am certain of, and there is a public timeline to support this, is that considerable time was missed.
  4. I can't imagine being advised to operate a motor vehicle while in concussion protocol, but I'm not a doctor.
  5. I mean if guys could do it like this “baseball” would have had them do it.
  6. Ok. I guess I just don’t get it. I’ve seen elite pitchers and hitters. They all seem better to me than him. Yall have fun.
  7. this is at least the 4th time in the last 3 weeks where an absolutely abysmal Roughing the passer call is made on a critical defensive play. there was a similar call on Thurs or Friday last week. and in each case its a defender barely fucking touching a QB and negating a huge defensive play. at this point either the NCAA needs to allow all PF calls to be reviewable, or if they dont want to do that, just fucking put flags on a QB and make a rule if the QB flag is touched (doesnt even need to be pulled), the QB is down. and for the record I fucking hate that idea cause these fucking 4th down stop/turnover killers, or just flat out giving the other team 15 yards and a free first down needs to fucking stop.
  8. He isn't good at both, he is elite at both.
  9. He’s probably not wrong about this, considering he’s always been loud about his connection at Alabama, but the guy has been wrong about a ton of shit. Futureman, for all his dipshittery, used to point them out pretty frequently. People did bat an eye about it, and you don’t need to whitenight her.
  10. Neat. I’m glad he is good at both. Is the argument that no one in 150 years has been this good? Why is everyone so fast to latch on and act like we are in the presence of some baseball God?
  11. I think it's the volume of posts that's got a lot of people torqued up. One of the two pretty much bowed out of the thread after Saturday until just now. The other has what feels like 50% of all the posts in the thread. Which one do you think is going to get dragged?
  12. Pretty simple. Guys can do both. Hell most baseball players have done both in their life. To be GREAT at both at the MLB level though? Usually a guy is great at one and kind of good at the other. It’s not worth risking the great for the good (injury, exhaustion, mental fatigue, etc)
  13. I get why people are pissed. I just think it’s taking the easy way out blaming his off the field issues. Alleged escapades have nothing to do with Banks still coaching here.
  14. Please, no attempted punt blocks….i can only take so many roughing the kicker calls.
  15. I’ve been playing practically every weekend. Feels good to have battlefield again.
  16. Horrific call against UTEP negates a pick.
  17. Utep hosed on that roughing call omg
  18. Cool. Explain. I’m not arguing he’s not great. I’m arguing there were plenty of pitchers or hitters that could have done both. The conventional wisdom of baseball since the 1930s or so has been to keep them separate. Do you disagree?
  19. A&M has improved but hasn’t played anyone and hasn’t flipped anything. Clemson and LSU are down, but UGA is not. Clemson’s boob head coach has two titles, and coaches circles around Kelly, who famously ignored the portal and isn’t capable of leveraging NIL.
  20. This is a terrible take. He is an ELITE pitcher and maybe the best hitter in history
  21. I here this stuff here. I also hear it "On Texas Football". I even hear it on some national podcast. Its' like everyone forgot how bad this OL has been. There is no opening the offense if you can't run the ball and when you pass the QB has 1.6 seconds before being obliterated. There is no time to go down the progressions. Who gives a shit if he can process if he don't have time to process. Our offense has been Arch standing in and making throws knowing he is about to get smashed or him running around for his life and somehow finding someone open. Caldwell had a nice run and he will need those wheels. The one thing we will have to see is will he stand in there and take the hit to complete a pass. Sark screwed us on the OL in the off-season and the issues will be there Saturday. Defense, special teams and QB heroics is the only way to overcome the OL. So lets go out and do all those things and win.
