  6. If any of you fagets are bemoaning Barnes, you didn’t watch any Pitt games last season. I don’t think it’s possible to replace Anthony hill but this is close.
  7. @Willfully Horn highlight your text or file and hit that plus sign in the circle, second symbol from the left, and then select spoiler from the dropdown.

  10. Trying to catch the Cowboys for the futility championship.
  11. Agreed. Planned obsolescence is real and it's such a shortsighted strategy. Our economy runs on it though. At least for now.
  12. Old time hockey, coach!
  13. BOMBSHELL@Macanudo is 'so tired of "bombshell" in titles'
  14. Not enough credit is given to Sark for handling Ewers/Arch dynamic and putting Texas in that position. He was lucky to have two players who loved the team more than loved themselves. A rarity in modern college football, and a big reason why Texas has been successful over the past few years. This idea that coaches make their own luck is ridiculous. Magical seasons like the 2005 team take a lot of things happening that are out of the control of coaching. Would anyone call Ogeron the greatest coach ever for catching one million bounces in his undefeated season? Takes a lot of good fortune, like VY Rugby passes not being called down and Texas Rbs dropping sure TDs against LSU, and Indiana Wrs tip tapping miracle catches to beat a Pedo St team that straight up outplayed Indiana. None of these moments are due to coach. If Miami wins the NC not many on here will say that Cristobal is a better coach than Cignetti. The old adage that luck favors the prepared is way over played. Many coaches get lucky and their coaching has nothing to do with it. A lot of fans want Daddy to control the situation. The game rarely works that way.
  15. The concern of every coach...a roster full of 5 stars.
  16. I think there's about a 60% chance we lose at least one of the next two games. Beat Mulkey today and go from there.
  17. Me, too, but I probably eat breakfast here too often. The waitresses knoe exactly when they saw me last, and seemed relieved when I walk back in after an extended absence. Me, soon..
  18. Undersized white running back? Pass.

  23. Jensen's opponent should just make a mock ad wearing a fat suit and knocking over bowls of gravy in place of those stupid hats while wheezing about socialism. I hope this thread gets towards the top of Google hits for his name and his kids see it. If he can physically reproduce. Or at least his AI powered sex dolls can process it.
  24. Frankly we were getting tired of your act anyway. Don't throw in the towel just yet. You may have a couple good years in you still. I've been helping care for my granddad who just turned 80 and is kind of slowly losing it to dementia. His wife - my grandmother - died 6 months ago and at the end suffered a really bad, rare case of Alzheimers. He gets really down on himself and frustrated (and he drives me up the fucking wall with his shit) but I remind him ocassionally that I love him and still want him around. Maybe that's selfish. Maybe I'm not ready for him to go. But he's meant a whole hell of a lot to me over the years. Don't underrate the impact you have on other people in your life. Someone in your family may really appreciate a few more years of Armybrat. Louis C.K. has a great bit on how silly our collective existential fear is surrounding death. The bit is basically "when you're that old you're going to want to die anyway". Maybe you're ready to check out. Maybe it's time. Like I said though - make it worth it for the people that love you on your way out. We'll get a wreath fund going in the meantime. 🤘
  25. Somehow you were able to time travel to post, Bravo.
