  1. Past hour
  2. In retrospect, that saga was the high water mark of the Internet. I still laugh about it to this day. It had everything. An Aggie upset loss to their real, yet unacknowledged, rival. College hijinx disrespecting preposterous Aggie traditions. The typical humorless, exaggerated response. The governor’s right-hand man making an ass of himself and getting punched by a fellow Ag who got sick of his shit, then runs to the papers to weave fairy tales of Aggie bravery and honor in the face of insurmountable odds. Evidence emerges online, revealing that the purported legion storming the Alamo was in fact a bunch of high school pranksters and a toothless, drunk townie. The whole shitshow was such a perfect encapsulation of A&M’s tenure in the Big 12. They wanted so badly to be something other than what they were: a national joke who was frequently clowned by their true rival, a middling Texas Tech, to the amusement of actual blue blood programs.
  3. He had the team looking really locked in to finish. I think he's a good coach. I just dont trust him anymore. Im not asking for him to be perfect. I think its pretty reasonable to ask that the head coach is laser focused on doing everything he can to prepare for the season. Sark just didnt do that this year and it cost us. I think thats totally unaccepable. I would feel that way if we won the national championship in 2024. I felt that way about late stage Mack. Maybe my expectations are too high but it doesnt feel like it. It looks to me like he has things back on track. Im excited about Muschamp and I think thats a great move from Sark. Arch is rolling. We are gonna have an exciting portal window. I think we are gonna have a big campaign next year. I just think we shouldve had one this year too.
  4. Simon who didn’t get a snap last night and a guy who was moved to RB a month ago got playing time over him? Basing Clark off one game is also stupid as fuck. If we don’t get two RBs that’s flat out negligent
  5. Landing an elite RB1 and cheaper RB2 to push Clark down a peg to RB3 would be ideal, we'll see if Texas can swing it
  6. And thy bros shall be placed before thee.
  7. With all that said... if we move Terry again and Simon portals, then yeah we would need another one.
  8. "A drive into deep left field by Castellanos"
  9. And yet, Ohio State, OU, Alabama, Georgia were all in the playoff. Two of those got bye weeks. If I can find it I’ll post the chart of how most playoff teams weren’t built with the portal. Unless I read it wrong. Recruiting still matters.
  10. Agree that Kirby is king right now, but I'm still not sure I'd swap him for Sark. He's totally owned Sark and totally outcoached him in the game this year, but that doesn't mean he'd be more successful at Texas than Sark going forward. Kirby isn't leaving Georgia anyway, so kind of pointless. And you don't see Kirby mentioned for new coaching opportunities either, so I'm not sure that's a great measure of whether a coach is good or bad. And I think Day, Freeman, and Lanning would be the next best choice/tier of coaches (I'd put Sark in that same group). So, you could divorce Sark and bring in another option for the sake of trying something shiny and new, but I'm not sure any of them are an upgrade. I guess we'd get a nice honeymoon period where everything is awesome before actually playing football, but at some point you are just swapping out the things/people to complain about. At some point, you have to move on if you aren't seeing the results/progress you want, but this past season doesn't get me near that point. A change now would be just as likely to take as backwards as forwards IMO.
  11. So far in year 2 of the 12 team format, 1st round bye teams are 0-5. Is nearly a month off too much time? In the olden days both teams had to deal with/overcome the long layoff between end of season and the MNC game, now it seems the top teams are being penalized Will be interesting to see if the trend continues or if some of the bye teams can knock off the rust today. Playoffs need to move up closer to the end of season, CCGs should go away and I am personally a fan of 8 or 16, no byes.
  12. Their starting QB doesn't play defense. The ASU starting QB (Leavitt) was out as well in that game.
  13. Happy New Year, Surly bastards. I'm gonna start negging all non-ironic AI slop posted on this website. We can't stop this AI bullshit in society, but we can at least make a difference here. Join me.
  14. I’m pretty sure Wingo has a similar stat line to Indiana’s #1 WR. Also catching contested balls isn’t just on the WR. We had a QB trying to figure shit out for about half the season. Both Arch and Wingo were better in the second half of the season. Wingo just needs to clean up those drops.
  15. Go Ducks. Quack Quack mother fuckers or whatever they say.
  16. It’s not healthy to internalize your emotions
  17. And in 1968 after three 6-4 seasons.
  18. portal and nil have nuked the blue blood concept in college football. stacking blue blood recruits. one great portap class and you're a national contender. sark needs a much better portal class in 2026. his 2025 portal class was a fail
  19. No, we don’t all see it.

  21. Chattel is still commonly used in real estate to describe things on the land that aren’t considered part of it, especially mobile homes.
  22. Oh wow this is terrible news... For Venezuela.
