Game Week Thread 2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida
Duane Moore replied to Wulaw Horn's topic in Football
Muhammed downgraded, Wisner, Black, and Moseley upgraded. Mbatchou is a new scratch on the DL for Florida. -
Lampasas goes three and out. Lorena turnover on downs and then Lampasas with a 73 yard TD pass from Roberts to Roberts (cousin) on the 3rd play of that drive.

Game Week Thread 2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida

I agree. I think we will be lucky to score 20. QB/Oline/WR are worse than last year. RBs are injured. Going to be playing in a wet environment against a top 10 defense that's battle tested against Miami, LSU and USF. I just don't think we score that much in a game that needs the Oline to play really well. -
What if they were ginger?

I was just listing guys that could be on the roster next year. Who knows what's going on with Gio. Apparently he's injured again.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

The president is talking about going to war with people he doesn't like, people who didn't vote for him, stripping citizenship from people he doesn't like, going to war with blue states, etc. Talking about using US cities as "training grounds" for our military. But yeah, touch ground. -

Helluva drive by the backups.
-
They really have screwed up the structure of the game with how they punish losing tribes early on. A tribe loses an early challenge, doesn’t get flint or tools, and then keeps losing because they are starving. It happens almost every single season and makes all this shit quite predictable.
-
early’s younger brother is a Texas commit. 🤘🏼

it would have been bases loaded no outs, dribbler ball to SS to get the throw out at 1st by a smidge. as it was both guys on 1st and 2nd advanced.where the fuck do you think the guy on 3rd would have gone? i mean, everyone wants to say the force out at home, but he barely got the guy at 1st, and baserunner on 3rd would have had a lead and launching the moment the ball was on the ground. thats 1 run. then the sky ball sacrifice gets the 3rd baseman in to tie it.
-
You're entitled to your opinion but you're treating it as an absolute fact that ignores the reality of what actually happened with some convoluted what if scenarios. None of this changes the fact nobody was going to excuse a loss year on Milroe of all people for fucks sake.

Holy shit, youngest to start a playoff game for the red sox since Babe Ruth
-
We’ve don’t nothing to this point on offense. This game is gonna suck
-
Lorena scores again. 5 and a half minutes gone and 28 points so far on the board. Pretty fun game to watch so far.
-
I am a big fan of his, but does Reyna belong on that list? The guy is barely getting minutes. It sounds like he has an attitude problem.
-
if you’re DW then yes indeed, i got it. 🤘🏼

Nice hands, feet.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

Imagine saying that to a Jewish person in 1930s Germany or Poland. “Hey, it’s not so bad, you can touch the ground.” Imagine saying that to an immigrant in the United States today, even if that person is here legally and has followed everything they have been asked to do. Imagine saying that to a trans person in the United States today. Imagine saying that to a Mormon person in Michigan who just had their church shot up and burned down by a right wing gun nut. Imagine saying that to a single mom in Texas who works her ass off to feed her kids and now she might lose her Medicaid coverage. Imagine saying that to a person who lost their livelihood simply for repeating a post of Charlie Kirk’s own words, in a way that perhaps his own words made him look a wee bit racist or misogynistic, and it got MAGA snowflakes triggered for portraying him negatively. All of those people should apparently look at the ground at touch it and be thankful they live in Trump’s America. Praise be. -
schlittler throws the most casual 101 mph i’ve ever seen. dropped by rice, more life for bregman.

The Cubs were up 2 at the time, so it wouldn't have tied the game. And Chicago got screwed out of a run on the call on the Hoerner slide at the plate. Cubs should have been leading 4-0 going into the 9th. EDIT: On 2nd thought, I guess you're saying that the dribbler to 3rd would have scored one run and then the fly to center would have scored the tying run, so never mind my first comment. But my second sentence still stands.

one time my dad was calling a texas game and at the end he stated that our starter threw a “two-shit hutout.”

Knew this was going to be the predictable response. But it always fails. Because everyone knows that the DOGE never looked into it. They never bothered with the department that was failing audits. Because, no one was actually interested in rooting out waste, fraud, or abuse. Defense is purposeful, DARPA is a wonderful developer of technology that we all enjoy. But feeding and educating people is also purposeful. Tomorrows workers are not going to be here if we do not develop them. If you think highly of the American military might, you might want people smart enough and healthy enough to fill those roles in the future, unless you want them to recruit Russian style.
