yeah nothing like an earthquake and a volcano eruption for the win. Just wait until the USGS changes its updates on Mt Rainier. all of the seismologists I follow believe that an eruption for Mt Rainieris fairly imminent (weeks away kind of thing or less) all these swarms the past two months are building up to something.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

Baker has been such a pleasant surprise. I wasn't exactly down on the hire, but I didn't understand it. Why were we taking a chance on a relative unknown? We're Texas, we can get someone with skins on the wall. Especially for a position that Sarkisian didn't really value - after all, Bo Davis is an amazing recruiter and hasn't done shit so clearly Sark wasn't giving Bo the support he needed. I was clearly wrong on both counts. I'd say the summer of 2024 did as much to build my trust in Sark as anything he's done during the season. Dude understands people. -

Put in the big hole and gouge on it (truck driver check in)

A little good news/bad news guessing game. 1. While I was home I put ole sparkle cake in the shop. Fixed an exhaust leak and a few minor issues. First time I’ve been to “my shop” since the whole motor fiasco. My mechanic calls and says the trucks ready so I ask what I owe him. He says $0. He is putting it in as warranty work even though nothing I had him work on had anything to do with any work he’s done previously. 2. 1300 miles from home and I throw a code for the EGR valve and the truck derates on me. I made it to load out in Detroit then head to a shop. $3700 later I have a new EGR valve and I’m back on the road. any guesses on which one is good news or bad news. On a better note while I was in the shop I talked to a salesman and we speced, spec’d, specd (none of those look right) out a new 579. Looking at around $220,000. If I get $100,000 for ole sparkle cake I’ll be pulling the trigger after the first of the year. (Tax reasons) -

My thoughts too. Just ask Phillip Geiger. If you're down a TD with 59 seconds left and have to have it, go for it. But it's dumb penalties and mistakes that kept the Vandy and ASU games closer than they shoulda been. -
I know that Angelos is no longer the owner, but fuck ever doing business with Baltimore on principal alone.

I'm old and love me some nostalgia. I like a good story and a Correa reunion/resurgence would be awesome. We need a 3B, and I hate Suarez' hair. So based on this data-driven, unbiased, non-emotional analysis, I'm 100% in on Correa.

I'm surprised, given the names they put out there returning punts, you didn't see Aaron Butler in there. Isn't that guy's whole thing supposed to be he's fast? I mean, I guess Niblett is fast too, but shit, that guy can't even break a 3 deep with Moore and Niblett being return guys? He has to be the #1 portal candidate on the entire roster by a mile. -
We finished it up and it was the raciest thing I've ever seen on Netflix by a wide margin. I wonder what the pitch was. "It's like Ransom Canyon but on Skinemax."

And a locust swarm. Furk. that are breeding in inaccessible areas near the frontline. The insects are capable of devastating crops in days, and officials say Russia’s war has made using traditional pest control methods impossible. In the Zaporizhzhia region swarms of locusts have been covering roads, fields and bushes. And producers say the insects have destroyed up to a third of their sunflower crops. https://www.yahoo.com/news/videos/locusts-swarm-south-ukraine-war-125044200.html

Does Dana Brown not have the Baltimore Orioles’ GM’s cell number? They are in sell mode.

Well now I really want him on staff

Nah, this is from another website where someone who is friends with a front office person posts. They have been right about deals several times in the past. The twins want to get rid of salary before the team is sold.

I think this speaks more to his network and ability to collect and decipher trustworthy datapoints than actually evaluating coaches. -
If he runs as much as he did last year I doubt he survives the season against SEC defenses.

Oh good, trade for an overpriced, broken down infielder AND a career sub .250 hitting outfielder with little power and a career OPS just over .700. Especially considering all the depth the Astros have right now, though I am sure the Twins would make that trade for Trammell and Hummel. Tell your friend to stop texting you the hypotheticals he created with the trade calculator on some website.

https://texaslonghorns.com/sports/football/roster/brad-spence/14449 https://texaslonghorns.com/sports/football/roster/trey-moore/14374 Roster has Moore an inch taller and 8 lbs heavier. Even if they are dead even, there is something behind this switch that we don't know about. On the surface, it doesn't make sense.
