What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?
BachelorTrek replied to GhostOfTomJoad's topic in Football
Yep, definitely a "T-shirt fan". -
I'm not getting an Uber from a client's office. That's not really the point though. My point is there are alot of people like me who want their car in these cities because you have to have them. Ridership will suck and the rail will be a money pit. Taking the high speed rail means a stop in college station, then getting to your destination, taking an uber to the rental car place, renting a car, then doing it all in reverse when its time to go home. Or spending a shitload of money on Ubers. I think too many will prefer to drive.

I just bought a rent house. I owed title 30k. I know about wire fraud and there was literally no chance I was going to wire that money there. Easier to get a cashiers check. -

God help me, I have to spend a night in Fayetteville!
Wiler77 replied to locodos's topic in Food and Travel
So youve been to SW Missouri, but didn't think NW Arkansas may look similar? You might be surprised to discover SW Missouri is next to NW Arkansas. And Fayetteville is close to the border. Bentonville, in addition to being in a beautiful part of the state, is home to Walmart. And the money they've pumped into the area. And the home of a ton of jobs that exist to support the Walmart engine. Your ability to not just be wrong, but come across as a complete dolt while doing so is quite impressive. I'm almost hoping you are actually Graham and are playing 4D Troll Chess. -

is this a deal where the victim has to press charges or can the d.a. prosecute without victim involvement. -
Death Inc. The Office set in a Spanish morgue without the documentary crew. Spanish show so you’ll have to read subtitles since they speak that Spanish where their S’s are THS’s but I fucking loved it. 3 seasons so it’s got some meat and they also have a Margot Robbie doppelgänger that’s pretty funny so that’s worth it alone tbh

On this topic? Haven't found one. Thanks for the personal shot though, not sure when I pissed in your cheerios. I don't recall anything you've ever posted, but I'm sure I did somewhere.

Religiously, I am kind of in a rut (am I alone )
Hermanator replied to Clintonaldo's topic in Cloak Room
Try some Daoism and Buddhism. Siddhartha Gautama tackled the whole existential crisis thing way better and different than the Jesus nonsense. More applicable to your life as it deals directly with the suffering we all face daily. Lao Tzu attacked the issue in a very practical way. Maybe you just need a change of scenery as it were. Learning about other beliefs helped me deal with the negatives of indoctrination easier. We're all humans dealing with the same shit existence. -

No, you're just fortunate. He's not worthy of a thread, but by god we're gonna have one.

This probably isn't the right place for you. IT, Hornfans, or Orangebloods would likely be more your flavor. -
I am getting sick of Josh Pate

honestly not sure who this is i must be old -
Some folks say very interesting stuff. You and Josh aren't two of them.

I don’t doubt the importance of such difficult times in a person of faith’s life. I guess it’s a function of where do you look in those times or what do they mean to you. The last decade crescendo’d on me to a massive existential crisis with all the questions and relentless lack of answers. I guess it happens to the best of us. I do not discount the meaning or experience of the Christian I just mean to say it’s not exclusively a religious or faith thing.

Nobody says anything riveting. I didn't find anything there worth hating on, unlike that program shill Bobby had on last Saturday who just blatantly made shit up to be an ass.
-
He seems like a tool bag that heavily hedges ALL his takes. Says a lot of general stuff, provides no unique ideas and is really vanilla. I don't find it hate worthy, I find it boring. Based on the 600 something views the YouTube video above had and the 22 likes 13 hours after it dropped... I think I'm in the majority.
