Who's pushing this cap? What is its actual intended purpose? The more we see shit like this, the more obvious it becomes that the real endgame here is to have the Big Minor League, NFL Feeder League, thirty or sixty-some schools step out on their own. I mean, fuck it, let's have an expense cap for every phase - coaches, players, facilities, bands, cheerleaders, pom squads. And what about the actual "student" part? Shouldn't we have limits as well? We say we do, but we need testing and enforcement to verify the rates and depths of academic achievement. We know where to go with this matter. Bring on the Prime League. Let the Good Times roll.

Tell a “scholarship player,” yes we want you to come to UT, but we really only see you as a “practice” player. Go Team! Hook’em!!!

I'll be in Argentina tomorrow. Please win so there is more playoff basketball when I return. Everyone is tired of Golden State. Do it for America. -
Ah, the ol' "you seem..." Let me give it a shot. You seem...like a person who's likely average/mediocre in every way because you spend more time/effort focusing on and blaming external factors vs. making sure everything within your control is 100% wired tight. If you execute perfectly and get screwed that's one thing, but... It's a terrible look to bitch about an umpire or a bad call when the pitcher hangs pitches up/middle for the other team to crush. It's a terrible look to bitch about an umpire or a bad call when you run up the HBP and walk numbers. It's a terrible look to bitch about an umpire or a bad call when the pitcher is consistently throwing off-speed to the outer half of the plate and hitters are consistently swinging out of their shoes trying to pull it. It's a terrible look to bitch about an umpire or a bad call when the team forgets how many outs there are and runs into a double play.

Close minded fucks. Control freaks. White vs brown/black. Don’t be blinded by these racist control freaks. No one is trying to take your “white culture/cuisine” away. No one gives a shit about hot dogs and burgers.

The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you." Yes, she says, "I remember it well." OK, he says, "How about taking a stroll around there again and we can do it for old time's sake?" "Oh Jim, you old devil, that sounds like a crazy, but good idea!" A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I've got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so there's no trouble. So he follows them. The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in... Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn't know. After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I've got to ask them what their secret is. So, as the couple passes, he says to them, "Excuse me, but that was something else. You must've had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?" Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply, "Fifty years ago that wasn't an electric fence."

Dogs are fine in bars. If the owner does not suck. @MissingInAction and Luna are fine. But at the local pub there are some real assholes. One dude was finally kicked out. His big as hound would be off leash, wander around begging for food. Have seen a few dog fights, etc. The worse are the idiots who bring their little dogs and think it is fine if they are walking around the table. Oh, and don't ask me to hold your dog while you go piss. Should have thought about that. PS- I have stopped in with mine coming back from a walk. But I am there for maybe 30 minutes. Also, some of these places are loud. Some dogs don't do well with loud. But your pup has no business at HEB unless you need said dog. -
And not that it matters, but a Texas win today, regardless of other results, would give Texas the most regular season wins of the conference (45)

All of the previous “walk ons” throughout CFB history are like WTF? They actually had a purpose. Not all were “Rudy,” but most were scout team players Mon-Thur against the Varsity, whether in t-shirts or full pads. My Dad’s only existence as a UT football player was basically in practice over his four years playing there. Someone will have to take their place on the 105. Hook’em!!!

As it looks to me this morning, Texas has clinched a top 4 seed with Arkansas’ loss last night. Worst we can finish is 15-9, Arkansas is 13-10 If aggy wins and OU loses, they’ll tie for the regular season. I assume tiebreaker would be record against the next highest placed team they both played, which means Aggy wins the #1 seed by virtue of having the 2-1 series win over Tenn 3 scenarios - I’d prefer the second, honestly. I don’t want to see OU in the SEC semifinals aggy win and OU loss would line up the top 4 as: aggy OU Texas Tenn An Aggy win and Ou win would line it up as OU aggy Texas Tenn aggy loses and OU win or loss OU aggy Tenn Texas
