  1. Past hour
  2. This seems to be an obvious change in style to me. Former head coach at multiple stops that Sark can trust to take care of more than just coaching the defense. It's like when we brought Patterson in but Will is actually committing to the title.
  3. Yes. Rye Manhattan is redundant.
  4. My god this is the most Surly thread in history. Hilarious.
  5. No, no, of course not. But, maybe...
  6. If someone asked me if I would prefer a blue moon or a 14 year old scotch I'd assume they had a mental disability.
  7. VIP Vault thoughts: - Many technical issues, but they usually fixed it. And they were always nice about it. User error probably cost me a bottle of Old Forester Presidential. - It’s more democratic. A lot of first time BTAC owners this year. I don’t give a shit because they’re going to give me Lot B/ORVW and WLW/GTS/THH every year. - I didn’t get Parker’s or 4RLE this year. These were lay ups in previous years, but I did get a JD Special Release. That was a floor drop every year previously. I wanted that Parker’s, agnostic on the 4RLE (it’s not priced well), but if I get a couple Coy Hills moving forward I’ll call it even. Hopefully stuff like 1924 and ER12 is an email instead of a drop. So sick of this camping out line bullshit. - I don’t love them throwing legacy points out. It’s a rolling 12 month point total now. I’ve tried to buy every 6 pack, bottle of wine, mixer, and nice bottle of booze at the same location since I moved back in 2011. Loyalty should mean something.
  8. J-Whitt lives.
  9. Newton coach is gonna kill 88. Lol. 2nd false start and takes a 3rd & 3 to a pass attempt and INT.
  10. Another reason to be excited, Muschamp will absolutely offer his input on strength and conditioning. I think we are going to see a different approach this offseason.
  11. The problem is when you aren’t together no one gets it. It’s already a relatively deep cut, but “I don’t know Margo” hits differently when read by itself.
  12. aren't all proper manhattans made with rye anyway?
  13. We had things rolling on offense at that point compared to when we faced utep. Bad analogy
  14. Being reported by rumor mill PK was in active discussions to go to USC...so we'll see.
  15. The videos are interesting, to see a big chunk of the city lose power within moments of a strike. Would love for this to happen in Moscow.
  16. Is this the highest profile televised event from the Star? Kind think it will look like a football equivalent of those basketball games in hotel ballrooms due to the size of the interior
  17. So... the "hey can you help with filling out the Owner's form?" request that was supposed to take 1/2 day turned into me working 'til 2AM last night. The data didn't make sense because the "exec" is an idiot. I brought it up at 8AM, and we didn't start updating the data until 4PM. That means I'll spend another 2 hours updating the spreadsheets with the new data. AND they also want me to put together some graphs (I suck at Excel graphics). Getting to the point. I'm going to get a drink now. At the office. And no one can stop me. Choices are Blue Moon, Red Trolley (ale), or a couple fingers of Glenlivet 14. I think I'm going with whisky.
  18. My wife, who just got out of the hospital for some kind of crazy complications after having her gallbladder removed last week, is a lot of things, but one of them is an absolute lunatic when it comes to one upping every other mom in the Christmas cookie game “thanks for being a preschool teacher/neighbor” game. Game set match
  19. My sweet Lord. Reading the thread since the Muschamp hiring is borderline exhausting. Some of the hawtest takes on this recruiting board, ever, on here between pages 45 and 48. I was quoting posts at first and by the time I reached 20, I just deleted them all, said “fuck it” and made myself a rye manhattan. If you can’t be excited by the Muschamp hire and all that that implies, wow. PK did really well, but he basically recused himself from having to be involved with talent evaluations and was regularly pining to get back to the west coast. Muschamp had agreed to take the DC role when Sarkisian was hired and helped handpick the staff. His wife stunned everyone and refused to agree to moving back to Austin. She loves Austin and returns several times a year to visit with friends and shop. She didn’t want to leave while the kids were in college. So Muschamp had to bow out. PK was a great back up, but Muschamp is who Sarkisian wanted from the jump. Muschamp is hands on with talent evaluation, with all of the game planning, has deep knowledge of the Georgia nemesis, endless energy, and will never be a yes man. He will tell Sarkisian straight up when he thinks he’s fucking up. The guy used to eat Greg Davis alive, in front of Mack Brown.
  20. You do realize that most of us use this forum as an outlet to say the shit that we can't in real life--because of being members of polite society, family obligations, not being anti-social psychopaths, etc.--right? Only, like, 30% of us are going to take a shit in a box and send it to our conspiracy-riddled uncle. 40% tops. But, sure, man, keep pretending that there's a liberal equivalent to dude bros proudly displaying WWG1WGA, 3%, and other militia and white nationalist movement paraphernalia and bumper stickers. Or a parallel to the giant ass Fuck Biden flags at every camping trip and lake I've been on for 5 years. Or year-round roadside MAGA apparel tents. They absolutely cannot help themselves. All of us work or associate with people just itching to squeeze transsexuals and DEI into completely unrelated conversations. Maybe I am sheltered from left wing extremism in [checks notes] Southern California, but I don't recall the last time a universal healthcare (as if that's even comparable) discussion came out of nowhere. Dumber people and those drawn to conspiracies having poor impulse control and a lack of social etiquette isn't exactly breaking news.
  21. “Boom, muthafucka, that’s what I’m talkin about.” Buttfucked the bull dyke visor cunt and it did not require an AK. As the great warrior poet, O’Shea Jackson, said, “It was a good day.”
