  1. Past hour
  2. Disabled vets are as bad as crossfit freaks about making sure you know their status.
  3. (shown dozens of videos of Trump fucking children over the years, backed up by signed affidavits from the victims as well as witnesses) “Interesting. Trump is clearly covering for someone. Probably Obama. But why??”
  4. Tech fans including Fantana are well aware how absurd the officiating was in 2008 (not just that game) with holding going uncalled but they're not going to admit it in enemy territory. Just let them have their most glorious game victory that led them to winning exactly nothing of importance.
  5. I'm just joking man, you need to relax. Again, you take this shit far too seriously.
  6. Yet here we are, Texas in the SEC, two of biggest brands in American sports, loving life and winning Director’s Cups on the reg. And there you are, titleless across the board, with your biggest supporter running ads on TV begging Congress to do something to bring Texas back into your jealous, loving arms.
  7. I appreciate every reminder I see that Toby Keith is fucking dead.
  8. 6. Governor Broken Dick gets involved because he hasn't yet seen a stupid culture wars fight he can roll his wheels through
  9. And then we have things like online gaming- those of us who play the various online games see and hear a lot of stupid shit coming out the mouths of middle-schoolers (or younger). A lot of racist and misogynistic bullshit, but overall just a lot of stupid shit, and these little shits get used to this - if they behaved this way during PE or with other kids in-person, they'd get their asses beat. But they do it for hours every day online, with no pushback, and in fact encouragement from their peers and while they initially may not realize the impact of what they are saying at their age, eventually, down the line, it has to influence their personality. It becomes normalized.
  10. There's that bitch talk again
  11. I don't think that's what she meant - she probably meant in today's day and age, as soon as the video was released, the end result was always going to be the professor gets fired. And "they" being Texas political powers, not A&M per say. Correct me if I'm wrong here @Mrs Whiggins What about this student screams "reasonable" to you? Other than that she is on the same side of the transgender issue as you.
  12. Counterpoint-- You're a Texas Tech fan with 10,000 posts on a UT message board. That's weird. Aggy level weird.
  13. Sounds pretty bitch made to me
  14. Fawn has kept her distance from photographers. Here's the latest I could find. It's from 2005:
  15. Wordle 1,544 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. There have been many horrific calls by SEC crews over the years, it's just a matter of time for y'all. It's almost like refs everywhere suck shit. Ok, great. The point is you're literally the only fanbase in America that obsesses over it. It's weird. Aggy level weird.
  17. More deep dive into OU history. Switzer was forced to resign, as noted in last entry, for fear of further investigations discovering more embarrassing felonies. He wrote an autobiography, “Bootlegger’s Boy”, where he explained that every charge was the result of some unreasonably hostile person having a vendetta against him, and if he did do anything wrong, it wasn’t anything that everyone else wasn’t also doing. This is almost, but not quite, the end of Switzer’s story with Sooner football. Despite his all time leading winning percentage as a coach, no major program contacted the (still relatively young) coach for an open job. He was famously napping in the couch when Jerry Jones offered him the job as coach of the young Cowboys team, recent two time SuperBowl champions. His charter was to keep the team steered forward, changing as little as possible. He fucked up his first season, blowing the NFC CG. The Cowboys won the Super Bowl his second season, as team leaders pulled it back together from a near midseason collapse. They lost in the playoffs his third season and then the franchise collapsed. Troy Aikman did not like Switzer’s slapdash coaching style. Switzer didn’t like that the team’s most important player didn’t like him. Switzer had hired an old crony, John Blake, to be an assistant and running buddy. John Blake decided to prop Switzer up in the locker room by spreading rumors that Aikman was racist and gay. That pissed Aikman off. Luckily, OU needed a coach and Switzer was able to foist Blake off on the Sooners. There is more- criminals arrests, lawsuits, unseemly allegations. Switzer’s SIL formed a financial alliance with Toby Keith and Bob Stoops, where they prey on OKC money, arranging business ventures where the jock sniffing investors carry all the risk. I guess I should mention- Gary Gibbs took over as HC after Switzer. He was a solid coach, but with limited cheating, 8-4 seemed to be his program ceiling. He was fired and replaced by Howard Schnellenberger, who was fired after one season. Then, Blake was hired and finally, a new AD, Joe Castiglione, hired Florida DC Bob Stoops. Stiops was a truly great coach, able to have great success even at the limited level of cheating allowed. He also “wrote” an autobiography, “No Excuses”, the idea being that the secret of his success was his rejection of making excuses for shortcomings and challenges. In the book, he makes an excuse for losing to Florida in the BCS CG (his RB and DT were out injured. He doesn’t mention that they were injured in the B12 CG and he assured the nation’s voters that each would play in the BCS CG, lest they vote for Texas to ascend). He also makes an excuse for Joe Mixon breaking that girl’s face, repeating a debunked allegation that she said something confrontational. it’s not 100% true that Stoops allowed misbehavior or that he proscribed it. The truth is- average and poor players had zero tolerance. Star players were allowed to get away with anything. Oklahoma Sooners football, y’all!
  18. Texas holds plenty. And gets called for it plenty.
  19. Million dollar highway js awesome. Gotta stay on the road though.
  20. There's season tickets and individual tailgate qr codes. She was scanning individuals most likely and I wasn't there.
  21. I'm sure your players have never held, ever.
  22. I'm still a bit confused on the "facts" of this story. 1. Student films professor in class. 2. Student meets with school President who says, "what do you want me to do fire her? That ain't happening!! [correct response in my opinion] 3. Student goes public or at least reaches out to her state rep 4 . School President decides / is compelled to not only fire the professor, but also the department head and the Dean. 5. Justification for all of the firings is that they are not following the course description / syllabus by including gender discussion when it had been purged over the Summer in an effort to comply with Exec Order. What a shitshow, terrible look for an institution of higher learning, but to be honest in a world where Ivy League joints are paying extortion payments to the neighborhood goons, I'm not sure we should expect principled stands to be the response in SEC outposts. SAD!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.
  23. Money wasn’t even a top 3 consideration for the move. That’s an easy trope to throw out there and no doubt it makes programs like Tech feel better when that’s what fans like you think, but it’s actually laughable in the context of Texas. 1) Power - the Big 12 was a drag on Texas’ brand and AD competitiveness. 2) The Future - Future contracts across multiple platforms, including streaming, were going to be shutting more and more conferences out. 3) Peers - Texas was tired of the ankle-biting across all sports, politics, and media. Campbell actually contributed to this with his efforts to fuck with the PUF through political allies in the legislature. Texas wanted to affiliate with programs with similar goals, needs, and wants. The Big 12 made no sense on this level. You can argue that money underpins all of those things, but that’s because you’re new to money as a program. Money is a given for Texas. Other shit had to matter more. You idiots finally made other shit matter more. The 2015 game between Texas and Oklahoma State was the beginning of the end and exemplifies the need to address all 3 points I reference and there is zero worry about money when examining the issues with that event. The Big 12 tried to big dick Texas in the aftermath, no one nationally saw it or cared because it was in the Big 12, and they all just joined in pointing and laughing with Texas’ Big 12 brethren at Texas’ futility in yet another embarrassing loss.
  24. 4 yards per carry is great if the plan is to run three downs in a row and not commit procedure or holding penalties.
  25. Overall I’m not concerned with sec crews except for the Gomer Pyle crew. Big 12 has 3-4 really bad crews
  26. And it speaks to a deeper trend - we see really stupid fucking ideas being accommodated. We have a President who, when caught lying, immediately shouts out "FAKE NEWS FAKE NEWS" and the media doesn't push back. We see dumbasses in our government talking about chemtrails as if they were real or saying maybe we shouldn't be too harsh on the flat earthers or moon landing deniers, and they aren't being mocked for that, or worse, that 9/11 was a false-flag operation (look at how Laura Loomer was around Trump and how much influence she wields). The most popular podcaster adopts whatever beliefs the person sitting in front of him has, so tens of millions of people who think he is an authority figure are nodding along say "well maybe we didn't land on the moon!" 40 years ago, these people used to have an audience that consisted of themselves, hanging out in the back of a bookstore, and occasionally a kid in junior high who was bored at the mall and hanging out in B.Dalton and looking at all of the spiffy covers and blurbs on their books. We used to shove these people's heads in the toilet and flush it or give them wedgies. Here in 2025, these people are pushing the dumbest fucking conspiracy theories on platforms that spread their bullshit around to millions, unchecked, within seconds, and they are spreading it to people who are vulnerable to this bullshit - our parents/aunts/uncles who, for whatever reason, have lost whatever critical thinking skills they had when it comes to the internet. And when they hit the mainstream (MTG, etc.), they don't get pushback from the media because the media is afraid of them. We should not have state legislatures "banning chemtrails" and they should be routinely mocked, but they aren't outside of the Jon Stewarts.
