  1. Best episode yet. Pedro is a master at his craft, and Bella plays off him perfectly. Knowing those would be the last words they shared on the patio really brought that scene to another level. The flashbacks of her childhood joy eventually turning to teen angst was perfect in showing their changing relationship as it does between every parent and child.
  2. The haze from the fires in Mexico has returned sending my allergies into overdrive. Don't be fooled by the "overcast" skies. It's soot.
  3. Which episode is that?
  4. Got the VIP suite this time. The usual room with adjoining family room. Almost as big as my apartment. Incredible view of campus and downtown.
  5. There were magats on a cancer forum i was doing some research through. And of course they're pushing the horse dewormer as a cure for all forms of cancer. These people are truly broken.
  6. That would be very useful for surly tailgating.
  7. I'm only 50 and there are days I feel like I have dementia will all this bullshit going down these days.
  8. That was some David Lynch shit.
  9. Interesting how out of all that talent only Michael B Jordan and Idris Elba became A listers. Michael K Williams was on his way before ODing. Sure I'm missing a couple.
  10. I think Marcello came into his own this season. I kind of like Longfellows sociopath schtick, but that's all he's got. Agreed on cutting half the cast. Day reminds me of Chandler Bing. Could he SUCK any more? Wickline doesn't even want to be there. Bring a couple of top comedy podcasters as writers or something. It's so stale it can only imrpove.
  11. Second cycle begins tomorrow. I know now to bring nothing but draws, socks, and entertainment. Hope I'm back in the new wing. So much nicer with big TV, adjustable lights, and AC thermostat under my control. A lot more room to walk around which is important since I'm confined to my room for the duration. Anyone else ever get admitted for chemo or just the out patient version?
  12. Think of public sector workers as a foundation. In my current position i have a mentor and a protégé. The three of us cover the span of three generations: boomer, genx, millennial. This is to ensure the transfer of knowledge which in turn creates stability over decades. Say doge cunts were to remove one or two of us. That would create a crack within the foundation causing far reaching effects destabilizing not just our department but the departments which depend on us to function. The destabilizing effect is exponential and it's impossible to reverse.
  13. The best way to get information out of someone is to leverage the health of their loved ones if they have any. Muslims typically have huge families so one can get a lot of mileage out of that option.
  14. Please share a conservative viewpoint. If it has merit and truth to it I'll happily have an open conversation on the subject. However if you're parroting the latest fox news talking points you will get eviscerated.
  15. Bix and their baby in the fields...
  16. Braveheart was one of the first gritty/realistic war movies. Many TV shows and other movies would follow in its style of chaotic bloody battle scenes where you have no idea wtf is going on until the end. A classic IMO.
  17. Has Stellan Skarsgaard (best name ever) always played such a perfect heavy? I feel like I've been missing this actor
  18. Can't improve on greatness.
  19. OK, shit dicks. I installed the max app on my Samsung OLED. Works like a champ!
