  1. Gonzaga's defensive rotation is just so bad.
  2. Timme's never committed a foul. Nor has he ever not been fouled on a shot. This much we know. According to him.
  3. Yeah, Dusty May's agent is going to be busy,
  4. Rebounding. Rebounding. Rebounding.
  5. Say goodbye to May, FAU. Poise and great basketball acumen. The opposite of K-State down the stretch, especially Johnson. He's just not a smart player.
  6. Thankfully you're not the AD. The job is already Terry's. It was once he got to the 2nd weekend. Probably was his once he climbed the ladder in KC. Let the tournament play out. Making "announcements" right now is the last thing you want to be doing.
  7. - Nowell's ankle? He's the best player left in the tournament so that's kind of big. Johnell Davis is still an unknown to most but a dynamic player. Game could go either way. Length of K-State could be big. Tenny was tall but K-State's length is athletic and above the rim. FAU may not be able to match. - Gonzaga is a terrible defensively. That's the story of this game. Will be surprised, very, if UConn doesn't advance. Just a better all around team. - San Diego State bludgeoned Bama and was resilient in doing so. Down 8 with 10 minutes left it dug deep and just took the game over. No team did that against Bama this season. Creighton's a nice story and beat a Y team tonight, as it should have. But SDSU goes to Houston. - We'll see on Disu. Silver lining was to get Allen back in the flow tonight. Miami dismantled a team that specializes in dismantling other teams. Texas took apart and laid waste to a really good Xavier team. Sometimes teams have that extra mo going for them. Texas and Terry appear to be in that mode. K State, UConn, SDSU, Texas. See you in Houston.
  8. The off-ball charge draw is such a laughable scourge of the game. Draw a charge if you're on the ball. If you're just standing in the way of someone it's a pathetic foul call.
  9. Miller will be back in soon. They can hide him defensively on SD who doesn't have great one-on-one players. Of course, Miller may do something dumb. He's already done so at a bigger level.
  10. Yeah, but we're working on those roofs. Emergency $500K declaration to get the Candlewood fixed so we can have another emergency fix in 6 months when the place is again ransacked and destroyed. I feel good about some homeless being in the facility by YE. YE 2029.
  11. Lulz. In Austin? Your concerns are warranted but from what planet did you just arrive? I'm sure (hope) you realize things really aren't going to change. Ain't going to happen, it will only get worse. The people that are driving the city aren't going to change because the people voting in that ilk aren't going to change. Anyone that thinks it is probably can't wait to see the Easter bunny in a couple weeks. On a lighter note, I did see an interesting drum circle this morning on the Ben White access road in one of the many little camps that has risen over the last 2-3 months between 35 and Lamar. Just across the access road from the old Taco Jalisciences (orange building). Hopefully these 5 guys can hitch a ride to Eeyore's next month. They'd be welcome additions.
  12. Except the first will make a good living at the next level. The 2nd is living off his NIL, which he should.
  13. No excuse if Tennessee doesn't win this game. FAU is going to struggle outside as Tenn defends the line as well as anyone. If Barnes doesn't put the ball in the paint, over and over, then he's senile. FAU has no answer there.
  14. UCLA is such a tough team, pretty much mirrors its coach. And Cronin can coach his ass off. Doesn't matter how many starters it's down, UCLA is going to take every punch you throw and throw more back. And Jaquez is the leader of that assault. Ultimate gamer.
  15. Harlan is so damn good. Eagle was always going to succeed Nance next season on the last weekend of the tournament but that's only because the CBS suits don't want a guy talking about a player being "tied up in a straight jacket on the sideline". That, and so much more, is what makes Harlan the best in the business.
  16. I'm not going to argue as there is a lot out there. But he threw that pass from a fucking long way away....
  17. And he was 10 feet above the circle.
  18. That Nowell alley oop to Johnson was an incredible play. He was looking at Taing and simultaneously at Johnson. Almost instantaneously he threw a gorgeous pass, from way above the circle, that landed right in Johnson's hands. You will not see a better play, at any level of the game.
