  1. UK @ UGA once UK beats LSU this week.
  2. Surprised they are skipping Penn State at Iowa. I guess it's because that game is on Fox.
  3. I'm more worried about Texas playing TCU than Patterson complaining about SMU.
  4. I'd excuse aggy and Mizzou for "only" having 10 years to win it. So that leaves Arky, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt? However, it's not like the Big 12 is better since Iowa State, Kansas, Texas Tech, and West Virginia never won it. WVU can be excused like above, but for the other three, that's roughly the same amount of time Arky and South Carolina have had to win the SEC. If it's just a Vandy complaint, then it works looking into the Big 8 and SWC. All final Big 8 and SWC football teams at least on the conference once, though a handful only once or twice - Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State. End result SWC more balanced than the SEC, Big 8, or Big 12.
  5. No, sorry. We already took BYU, Houston, Cinny, and UCF. Maybe next time. - Big 12
  6. I guess it ain't gonna be ISU in the Big 12 CCG.
  7. Ugh, why did I have to see more Tom Herman today. You bastards !
  8. I'll second that as hopefully Texas can beat pretty average.
  9. Where's a hurricane when you need one?
  10. Maybe if they had stayed in the Big 12, they'd be an conference with OU, NU, and UT. If those three left later, the Pac-X would still take CU.
  11. If only there were enough Arabic numerals so that two players didn't have to both wear the same jersey number "3"...
  12. I looked up 2019 aggy. If Wikipedia is to be believed, they started the season with 98k fans against Texas St, 97k against Lamar in week 3, and over 100k for each conference home game. I find it hard to believe fans are less excited in 2021 since they're top 10 with some conference and national championship predictions. Did prices skyrocket in aggyland or is it COVID hangover for over a 13k drop in attendance? Maybe both...
  13. Now, that's investigating reporting, Hayleigh of the Indy Star! Largest drum my ass. Interesting that ND added a visitor tunnel in2017 and won't let the drum use the main entrance, where it would fit and was the tunnel used by all until 2017. Typical ND pricks.
  14. I don't want to be locked in with TTU annually in football. I'd much prefer to play a single non-SEC based Texas team each season. Year 1 could be tech, year 2 TCU, year 3 Rice, etc then repeat. All other sports like bball and baseball, that's cool.
  15. I interpret top five as places a coach should be able to win easily at. Texas is #1 because of in state recruiting, money, and history. The reality of a lost decade doesn't take away from that. Alabama at two is ability to recruit, money, recent domination, and history. A tough job to follow Saban, while true, doesn't take away from that.
  16. aggys say they only run out of time. Boy, they sure gave this one a loooong time. Aggie hands in final paper 42 years after graduating
  17. I'm surprised the AD didn't drive Helton to the airport to deliver the news.
  18. Watch this with a close look at the score board in the background at 0:59. Not a rival my ass.
  19. Sports Illustrated: "Texas just underscored that the only elite element of its program at present is in spending and making money." Fuuuuckk, he's not wrong. https://www.si.com/college/2021/09/13/cfb-which-teams-should-panic-after-week-2-miscues
  20. It went limp because you just found eight ladies who would fire your sexual harassment ass, oh and be in a position to make that call at their very first job.

  22. Well, I found it in the Eugene Register-Guard on google news https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=4pF9x-cDGsoC&dat=19970915&printsec=frontpage&hl=en on page 10 on google's number system (or page 6B of the newspaper's numbering system). We were #28 for a 17 spot drop in the AP Poll. So yea, the 20 spot drop this week is worse than the 17 spot drop after Route 66!
  23. Impressively, we only dropped 14 spots in the Coaches Poll after that https://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/polls/coaches-poll/1997-1998/1997-09-15/ From #11 to unranked that week in the AP Poll. With a worse score, I'd imagine we fell more than 21 spots, but based on the Coaches Poll from above, maybe not. Too bad no 'others receiving votes' section to see how far the fall was. Just says we fell out of the top 25 https://www.collegepollarchive.com/football/ap/seasons.cfm?appollid=793#.YT9lXBJOlaQ
