  1. One of my friends gave me a bible and wrote something in it for me. About 4 years prior, he gave me a copy of Jenna Jameson's Live Your Life Like a Porn Star and wrote in that as well. Now that I think about it, that was a little odd.....
  2. Done several carnival cruises with my wife. We enjoy not having to do anything but having some options. Really did them as breaks from the kids, 6 and 4. Sleep in, drink a lot, do some gambling. I enjoypeople watching at the pool. Yes, some of the watching isn’t great Ive heard that there are plenty of couples without kids that choose Disney just for the quality, so that might be the way to go. If we ever take kids on a cruise, it will be Disney
  3. Hah hah. Really? The difference?
  4. “Defensive players must be within two yards outside the widest offensive lineman (presumably a tackle) and five yards from the line of scrimmage. The exceptions would be play-action or run-pass option plays and if the ball leaves the tackle box. Any violation of these rules is considered "illegal defense" and will result in a 15-yard penalty.”
  5. Decent crowd. It will get loud in there if the game is exciting. The whole league had training camp throughout San Antonio last month. Atlanta practiced at the NISD stadium so I would see them every morning after swim practice since I had to go into the stadium to get my bus. I was pretty impressed with the energy and professionalism at the practices.
  6. Be sure to wipe the spittle off your windows tomorrow morning.
  7. That stuff you put it bold. It's not currently happening. So honestly, that post isn't all that " very interesting"
  8. On a whim 3 years ago after taking the boys to Sea World, we picked up stuff to make Chalupas, went home, had some drinks and let the boys play until they got tired. Chalupas are our new tradition.
  9. Two of my worst cases were from Whataburger. I think the first was from lettuce since my wife skips lettuce and onions and she was fine. Second was from shakes we had. I was fine all evening while she was puking and asking me to call an ambulance. My body said “fuck you, you drank it, it’s going though your system”. Right about the time she stopped puking, my bowels let me have it. Took me almost a year to go back to Whataburger after that one.
  10. Wow. From UTSA to DC after one season. Best coaching story out of UTSA. The rest just suck right now.
  11. I just used the recipe jj posted. Simmering now and I’ll dig in later but damn, that pepper blend tastes awesome.
  12. What type of bottles do you use? Just the regular grolsch style bottles? I think I want to try it this year.
  13. I got one off of Amazon, but haven't set it up yet.
  14. I Threw up after drinking beer once, but it was the bad food I ate, not the beer.
  15. Well, it was still ugly last week vs Baylor. Baylor seemed to get their 3rd downs any time they needed. 3 yards or 15 yards. Hoping to see some growth on offense and more discipline secondary vs. Kansas State.
  16. Started with full mask earlier this summer. I’m still a little inconsistent with it as I’m used to tolling over to my stomach and I tend to remove it. When I keep it on, my wife says that I’m almost completely silent.
  17. Agree. Embarrassing. Glad we won.
  18. I know that guy. No seriously, I know that guy. Sales Rep when I was selling back in the day.
  19. I put up a Beto sign in March. I was alone until about June. Now, there are at least 15 in my neighborhood ( which went red during the last election) and several more in the adjoining neighborhoods. Ted Cruz sign popped up yesterday a few houses down. I'm guessing the guy got sick of seeing Beto signs on 5 of the 6 houses leading up to mine as he drove in.
  20. Yeah. That sucked. Wouldn't have been any different if we hadn't lost our projected starting QB. Good for Herman. No issues with that guy. Might be a fun ride with him
  21. Ok. I apologize that I came across as an ass. Things happen. Glad all is ok. Scary to think about. Again. It all comes down down to having that respect for what COULD happen. You will be fine and enjoy it. My neighbor has a pool and my 5 year old loves to talk to him through the fence all the time. Today they invited us to use the pool anytime we want. I know my son heard that. The pool is fenced but our yards are open to each other. I know I'm going to have to continue to remind my adventurous son that that means "with us only". He can't reach the latch to get in, but that doesn't make me completely comfortable when they are out playing on their own.
  22. I don't get this. She witnessed it, but your daughter almost drowned and had to go by ambulance. ? Perhaps she witnessed the aftermath? I'm a water person, but I get overly nervous with my 5 and 3 year old at the pool. My 3 year old is fearless and jumps in and sinks. But I'm always with him and pull him out in time for him to throw up a little water. I just think with water you have to have a healthy respect. If I was going the pool route, I would be nervous all the time. And be a little extra careful.
