  1. I’m assuming you don’t have to be a family member of a victim of the Holocaust to have a shit ton of anger at people responsible for that. You could be a Methodist in Kansas City and still feel like you wanted to kill a shit ton of Germans - or Nazis - or SS - when you learned of the holocaust. I learned about it pretty early because my father liberated several camps at the German Czechoslovakia border. The last 10 years in America have taught us that the public has shit for brains - and exactly like you say - will blame some random gay guy for some terrible act by a person who just happened to be gay. But it seems like you just skip over the ugly murdering acts that caused people to lose their minds when they see or hear about the ugly murdering act. And the people who want to respond in a negative way to the ugly murdering act do not have to be family members of the victims. I find it odd that you focus on that. My point was that as long as Hamas is a murdering deplorable terrorist club of shitheads, people will seek vengeance for their murdering, regardless of their family connections - but especially because of their family connections. And as long as Israel is trying very hard to be Jewish Nazi Germany, there will be people seeking vengeance for their murdering, regardless of their family connections- but especially for their family connections. And for full disclosure - after the Israeli response to the horrific terrorist act - and the fucking morons who equate supporting innocent Palestinians being needlessly killed with antisemitism - they can all fuck themselves in their goat ass. Just like I could give two shits about how many Hamas terrorists are killed. That is not a societal negative. People who think there is a large gulf distinction between the two right now are full of shit, in my opinion. I would be tickled if we cut off all funding to Israel until they remember what it was like, being oppressed with no hope of rescue. and maybe not have to be told by the president of the United States not to flood Gaza’s freshwater table with seawater because you’re pissed terrorists killed some innocent people. Your use of the phrase, “overly excited by Geopolitical developments” is like talking about Kristallnacht as “ when some excited people broke some windows”. The IDF are fucking murderers of late.
  2. I’m also completely lost. Are you saying that no Palestinian parents have lost children to the IDF’s attacks recently? Or no Palestinian parents have lost their children to IDF or settler attacks in the last 30 years? And that no Israeli parents have lost their children to numerous missile attacks from every shithead terrorist organization, sponsored by Syria and Iran? Or no Israeli parents have lost their children to a long line of Hamas terrorist attack attacks over the last 30 years? I wasn’t trying to say anything profound. Just that if Israel and Palestine want to play England and Ireland - then they are gonna get the Northern Ireland experience. And that includes every family member killed by Hamas or killed by the IDF, vowing to take vengeance on the person who killed their family. It’s sort of what Homo sapiens do. People who believe they belong to a tribe seem to take this even further.
  3. Statsman gets disgruntled if you don’t support Israel’s genocide of Gaza. Here’s what I believe is a truth factoid: every parent of every nationality and race in every country will not be happy with the innocent death of their child due to some murder-y actions by somebody. it is universal. I would not call vengeance by Israeli parents of deceased children terrorism anymore that I would call vengeance by Palestinian parents of deceased children terrorism. Is just one of the world‘s oldest primal emotions - vengeance. Why someone can’t accept that fact, I cannot fathom.
  4. To be fair to the guy, I’m absolutely sure he does not do that anymore.
  5. if I was a Palestinian dad whose kids were killed by the IDF destroying Gaza, I guarantee you I could do far better than just killing two diplomats at a museum. Anything that happens to Israel that is less than a one-to-one death response should make them giddy with happiness.
  6. I have United healthcare for my part D Medicare prescription plan. I got a call out of the blue yesterday from some lady from United telling me I could save money on prescriptions and get money to buy over-the-counter stuff if I would only sign up for this fantastic Medicare advantage plan from united. So I asked her - ”Does that mean I can go to any medical provider in the country if - I don’t know - I get cancer?” She said “no, but you will have excellent healthcare locally and a huge number of people to see.” I asked her if MD Anderson provided services for my cancer that cost me $200,000. How much would that plan pay. She said 50%., As MDA is out of plan. So I asked her, “since I’m a cancer survivor who wrecked up a bunch of bills at MDA previously, why was she recommending that I accept a plan that if I get cancer again will cost me $100,000 out of my pocket? She told me “let me know if you want to change”, and ended the call. There are a ton of uninformed old people who would listen to that sales pitch and not understand the out of system coverage consequences to their pocketbook and wind up in serious financial problems. Why that wasn’t the first question, she asked me - did I have a need for healthcare services not under their local coverage plan- before some stupid hundred dollar over-the-counter drug benefit - can only be described as greed. Assholes. They will have to pry regular Medicare in supplement plans from my cold dead fingers before I go with a Medicare advantage plan. fuck united
  7. Twice, everyone knows that politics have no bearing on what happens in our real lives.
  8. if you can stomach a thread where people talk about loving chilies food, you can damn sure stomach this.
  9. Your typing fingers to God’s eyes.
  10. Do they give you any of the royalties??
  11. Oh, I get it. We are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now. But I kind of feel that to host you have to have a stronger body of work instead of just getting hot at the end. Don’t get me wrong, I will take an SECSECSEC bump if we can get it.
  12. I have no idea. I obviously would love to host, but I in no way I think we deserve to. 1-11 should count for something.
  13. As a team, we are more of a TEMU spinning wheel than a set lineup. The hitting and pitching are stepping up, but there is only so much we can do about the defense shifting into suck because of position changes and a lack of playing together. not sure, but I think we are 16 and 3 in the last 6 SEC series and tourney. Everything that happens after today is just lagniappe.
  14. Bama did not let us down and lose a game to Mizzou. Aggy stands alone in its misery. As it should.
  15. One out and a guy on second. Gator needs another.
  16. I think South Carolina wants to hang out at Myrtle Beach and not go to Omaha.
  17. ????? probably only Aggie would give a shit. I sure don’t. It matters not to me if we are a three or a two seed inna regional. I would prefer to throw people who have never seen the light of day in the bullpen and get an early exit and rest up. I think that is a logical way to approach the tournament in your situation and the gator situation. If somebody needs to win the thing to get to Omaha, be my guest, throw your ace and try to win it. But trying to win it when you don’t have to seems stupid to me. If it made the difference in you hosting, that’s fine. That’s a big enough advantage in the regional to take seriously. But if you have to have a host regional to win the thing, you probably aren’t making any noise in Omaha anyway.
