  1. Lift her up to $1M and she’ll score a perfect 10 in recovery! God is good!
  2. Totally missed the huge hole on that wildcat package.
  3. Same. A variant of the dream is that I can’t find the classroom to take the final.
  4. Who is the audience for Echo? She’s in the running for the most unlikeable character next to Captain Marvel.
  5. Does the voucher bill still have the requirement that you have to be enrolled in a private school for one full year prior to getting the voucher money? It’s not even hidden who that money is for.
  6. This isn't official but 600+ SWA flights has shown the following pattern for boarding order. I do not believe it is random and a fast check-in 24 hours ahead does not matter. I think boarding is sorted like this: A1-A15 purchased Business Select Tickets A16+ is sorted in order by: 1. A List Preferred + Anytime Fares 2. A List Preferred + Wanna Get Away fares 3. A List + Anytime Fares 4. A List + WGA fares 5. Everyone Else Your Early Bird gets you moved up to the front of which ever tier you fall in. If you don't have any status at all, you are only moving up to the top of the bottom tier.
  7. What was the 212 price this morning? I paid $125 for my 4 tickets in 212 during the presale. Need to figure out how to price my extra two. Probably at least $350.
  8. Several $2M new constructions have sold within a few weeks of completion in my immediate vicinity. Those buyers don't give a shit about interest rates. If they do finance, they are paying more towards their principal and negating a high interest rate.
  9. Hey now. Our elementary is currently getting a security fence. It is an 8 foot tall cyclone fence. It won't stop a bullet but it will slow down someone for about the 10 seconds it takes to walk down to one of the entrances since they don't have any doors. Or, I guess you could just come in on the parking lot side since they didn't put a fence there since there's no room for it.
  10. Could've went to Star Seeds and had one of their delicious quesadillas...
  11. Can I assume that the electric 4-wheeler that was originally announced as a Cybertruck option isn't happening?
  12. From the look of recent pics, I don’t think she’s gone a day since then without pounding beers like a champion.
  13. I just learned that for NFL broadcasts in the UK, instead of going to commercials, it goes to the analysts desk to discuss the game. There’s a strict limit on commercials per hour on UK television and NFL broadcasts hit that limit by the second commercial break.
  14. Seems shady that the last two $1B prizes were also won in L.A.
  15. It doesn't matter if you have insurance. When I got stents and the $210,000 bill, UnitedHealthCare denied the claim based on the idea that I should've never been admitted to the hospital for undetermined chest pain, so the blockage should've never been discovered. It didn't matter that my PCP sent me over to see a cardiologist immediately and he told me to go get admitted ASAP. The only luck in the whole situation was that I went to Seton and UHC's contract with Seton stated that the hospital had to eat the cost of denied claims beyond my copays. One night in the hospital, the overnight doctor that came in to look at my chart and was there for 1 minute charged me $1,700. He was out of network so I had to pay that out of pocket as if I had a choice to see him.
  16. If any place in New Mexico is going to have a thriving LGBT scene, it's gonna be Santa Fe. You can't have all that fringe and turquoise jewelry without being a little gay. The issue would be is that the gay scene is gonna most likely trend older than a major city.
  17. It won't cover it. When I got stents in 2014, I was in the hospital for 5 days. The bill was $210,000. That'd probably be $350,000+ in today's dollars and inflated costs.
  18. Was that around '85 or so? Some friends went and one was so proud to have collected some of KVE's blood off the mat onto a scrap piece of paper. I just remembered I had a KVE pen. It was triangle sided with his name on each side.
  19. I’d love the movie to be a troll. The trailer scenes are the first 20 minutes of the movie and the next two hours are the mundane details of his daily life in his retirement as an actual bee keeper.
  20. Picked up 4 for face value of $125. It was well worth the membership cost. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Tool Army presale has access to the entire venue and isn’t just relegated to a small area for the presale. I’ll see how the chaos is during the public sale on Friday and price my two extra tickets accordingly.
  21. Tool just announced another run with Austin on 1/31 at Moody Center. I went ahead and joined the Tool Army for $56 so I can get in on their presale tomorrow before the Ticketmaster fuckery begins. I'll max out however many tickets I can get.
