What the fuck are these things?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any idea what the fuck these two plastic "filters" or "screens" are?

I have no idea whether they are some disposable piece of packaging from some thing or another (but if they were, I probably would have tossed them when assembling whatever they came with), or if it's something that I kept for a reason.

They're fairly firm and sturdy. One side is perfectly smooth/flush, but the other has beveled edges to the "gridlines."

Stupid answers expected and encouraged, but the actual answer would also be appreciated...

and the other thing appears to be a quarter.

I had to hang up my drinking spurs, and Mrs. Doom drinks her booze out of larger vessels.

Growing any "plants" wink, wink lately?

Looks like small flower pot/bonsai bottom mesh drainage screens

We do often purchase and eventually kill orchids - this is a possibility.

What do they taste like?

Unremarkable plastic taste.

If you draw a curved line under the quarter you’ll have a smiley face.

True.

What is this supposed to be...a waffle maker for ants?

Nope - the plastic will melt.

It turns out that this is the correct response!

They came with a bunch of small ceramic centerpiece decorations purchased from etsy.

Thanks!!!

I will bet money that mitch cumstein's wife has a 2,000 count bag of those things lying around somewhere.  No worries, I'm sure she got a great deal on them.

If you open that pic up on an android phone, or maybe Chrome in iphone (not sure), the Google Lens search leads you pretty quickly to that answer.
